Done, but you need to play Trails in the Sky. :P

That's like, a long-ass JRPG, though. What makes Trails in the Sky so good? I might play it. Someday.

Just had my first long session of Endless Legend (haven't finished a game yet, but this is the most free time I've had to play for a while). I'm really digging it. Just like Endless Space, the presentation in this game is gorgeous.

I bought the game pretty much as soon as it came out on steam, It never clicked with me but then again i kinda find games like that frustratingly dull for some reason

With the anticipation of nabbing Inquisition, I've been playing a lot of Dragon Age: Origins when it's just me home. When Tara's home, I've been playing Minecraft with her. :D And also watching her play through Arkham City in her anticipation of getting Arkham Knight.

Of course, I'll never actually beat Origins if I keep playing all these sidequests... XD

Well so was the last JRPG I told you to play and look at what happened there. :P

The game has a huge world that is still very detailed. It's a good mix of exploration and on rails story. There is usually a ton to do with a lot of side-quests. The battle system is unique and enjoyable. The characters are awesome and the story is great.

The biggest downside to it is it does have stretches where the game feels a bit slow, and sadly that includes the very beginning. Overall though, it's a fantastic old school JRPG. Not only one of the best in recent years but just one of the best I've ever played.

I'm really looking forward to the sequel and Trails of Cold Steel this year.

Well, if time spent playing is an indicator of value, Trails is certainly a valuable game. Two hours in and I've finished the introduction. Two hours of Freedom Planet, and I was half way through the story. xp

Tara moved on to Arkham Knight without beating the other one a second time. XD I'm still determined to beat Origins. I just keep losing and it's so frustrating ;-;

When we're both home, we also continue to play Minecraft. :) So far we have our original house with a mine beneath it (that we dug ourselves), our second project in progress - we're going to make a glass house on top of a sand-covered mountain (so far we have two safe houses on either side of the chasm, and a glass bridge connecting them, with a tunnel that goes down to the bottom of the mountain), and our third/fourth side projects - we both got lost and built safehouses that both ended up tunneling into a huge caverns.

So now we're exploring.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Very long. That game is really only like the first half of the story too. The sequel is longer.

I think it's great though.

I've been playing a lot lately, but most of it has been pretty bad... let's see...

I played some AudioSurf 2, or tried to, because somewhere along the lines, the game upgraded/updated, and now, doesn't even run on the lowest settings. Before, there was no issue. I guess this is what I get for wanting something in alpha a while back...

Instead, I settled for some AudioSurf (the first one), because it actually runs.

Beyond that, I have touched various games.

I broke my MLB 15: the Show streak. I'd basically played nothing else on my PS4 besides that for two months. I celebrated by playing a couple of the free games I had on my backlog.

The first was Ether One, a confusing walking simulator that I honestly didn't like. I'm stuck at a point because I saved it and went to sleep, when I got back to it two days later, I forgot what I had to do, and the game makes no indication of what I even CAN do. That's bad game design, there should always be an in-game way to figure out what your next objective should be.

The second was Hohokum, and it was extremely relaxing. Just as vague as the above game, but this one's goal is very clear. Just have a good time, and enjoy the weed you no doubt must be smoking if you are playing this game. I've never been high, but this seems like the prototypical stoner's game.

I also played some Terraria on the PS4. You may think consoles and Terraria wouldn't mix, but I've been finding it just as responsive and easy to control as on the PC. And with less lag concerns, I'm actually enjoying the game MORE than I was on PC. I've put a few hours into this, and only just scratched the surface. I can't wait to go back to it later.

With scars that show that we care a lot

Of the things we'd do and what we saught

Tara convinced her sister to get the PS3 version of Minecraft instead of the PS4. So now we can all play multiplayer together!
