Anyone else ever have those friends who insist on telling you about their dreams?

I don't mean when someone just goes, "I had a weird dream, this happened." I mean when they spend anywhere from fifteen to thirty minutes just describing it.

Yeah, a few of them

(Totally kidding guys!)

like in that one topic we have? i'm genuinely impressed with the stuff i come up with considering it happens within such a small time range of sleep.

i think i might stay an evil bear at work. i figured out where to get all the jumps, and the best places to watch the crowd. i have a long pipe i howl down, and that lets them know i'm there. then i back out a pocket door, and watch the group through a small hole. i watch to see who's ready to be scared, and then burst out when they're right past the door. one group was only two people, and i slipped out the door, and followed silently until they were under a strobe light. then i shrieked, and scared this girl so bad she fell over. i was able to sneak up behind a couple groups while the zombie guys distracted them too.

one teenage girl had her cell phone out for light, and i let her have it. i went up to one person and said they were too tall, another was too short, and then turned to cell phone girl who was (whispered uncomfortably close) just right. she took off, and smacked face first into a wall around a corner. i'm essentially getting paid to be 13 and scare my sisters all over again.

I like these sorts of communities. You know, nice little tight ones where everyone knows each other so it's not too huge and easy to get lost in the crowd of a billion posters.

I am back, and not improved at all, in fact, probably worse since I last saw you guys. Still talking about normal, uneventful things around here?

Yeah, I agree. Change is arduous work, and I'm lazy.

Anyways, recently I'm in eighth grade now. Things are similar to last year, except with less activity on Monkeypro and QualityRoms as both sites slowly die in agony they go through a slow period. I riced computer, I played football, I felt insecure about my looks and I did not eat tacos because my stomach is currently in non-digesting mode.

My grandmother let my cat out. Even though I told her not to let the cat out.

I have been up all night. It is 2:44 AM.

I have been chasing after a cat for 8+ hours.

Don't worry about it unless it's a new cat- you usually won't even have to do what kspr said you should. Mine just went out and came in for food, water, and attention and left.

I ended up tricking it back inside the other day. (I was just too tired to talk about it)

From 5 PM to 8 AM, I chased a cat, back inside the house.

15 hours to get a stubborn devil to obey.

If only there was a cat who obeyed like a dog did. But wasn't a dog.

That's... actually not impossible. My cat comes when she's called when she gets out. Though I will admit that she's the only one who does that. Usually they have to be used to being outdoors and they have to be very comfortable with their owner while outdoors in order to listen- otherwise they get scared of absolutely everything, including you (which, since you spent hours chasing them probably means they will avoid you again if they get out).

Exactly why I don't WANT her out in the first place.

But then my grandmother decides to let the cat out when I'm sleeping.

No respect for my wishes regarding my pet.

I meowed at my cat.

She just walked by me without a care in the world.

I think my cat is probably a dick.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I stayed up all night writing.

I regret nothing. (I'll probably have to proof read in the morning later, since writing while tired usually means lots of typos and missing words..)

I think you should keep what awful / hilarious things you wrote while tired. Turn it into the equivalent of a blooper reel.

Surprisingly, I just read over what I wrote and I only found one mistake. I wrote: "When arrived at the docks..." and forgot to put in 'they' after 'when'. That's one mistake for three pages, so that's pretty damned good.
