Damnit Mummy as a youtube show isn't working out. my camera doesn't want to cooperate, and my extras are all over the place. I was thinking instead of doing some sort of podcast thing. when i hang out with my friends, we drink, smoke, and give each other headaches from the funny stuff we come up with. usually, i turn on my voice recorder, and stick my phone somewhere inconspicuous to get all the funny stuff down as it happens, instead of not remembering it later. im going to start posting them

Randomly discovered some Gundam model kits at Barnes & Noble. Mostly from Wing and SEED, it seems.

Like new kits? Is Wing still popular?

I know in Japan Wing isn't popular at all (at least in comparison to other series), the popularity seems to mainly be Western because of Toonami.

Dunno how new they are, but I assume they are. Also I got a better look at the selection, and it's more varied than I first thought. It seems like there are smaller figures from the older shows (the original Gundam and a couple of Zaku type suits), and larger models from Wing, SEED Destiny, and SEED Astray. About half of the stuff seemed to be from Wing though. All three of Heero's suits, Death Scythe, and an extra decked-out Heavy Arms. I kind of want to get one, but I didn't note the prices.

Oooh what happened, that sounds promising.

It's so ridiculously crazy that I couldn't begin to explain without looking like a total nutjob.

Basically, I was lied to, like I thought, but not by the person I thought. Instead it's the person who tipped me off to the "lying" that was lying, and we both figured this out through some awesome detective montage where we found out we also both really care about each other and think this third person's lying was total bullshit and decided to disregard what they said, and just be happy with each other.

There's a lot more to it than that. That's just bare bones shit.

But basically, I have a happy woman. I am a happy man. And the plans we had are back on, so hopefully, things will be even happier in short order.

When a man is in love, all is right with the world.

So, high school state track competitions are coming up and in Texas, there's a blind girl going for the title in pole vault.

Yes, pole vault.

Ouch.

We're good friends and she's been very burned in the past, so she's afraid and unsure and doesn't want me to waste my time. I think she's the most wonderful and amazing woman and I love and care about her deeply. She knows where I stand and I'm willing to wait for her. I know she'll take lots of time, and I'll just be patient and loving.

Sorry, good luck though, I hope it works out for you. Truthfully though you could be setting yourself up for hurt, but to be happy you have to take a chance and I hope it goes smooth and excellent for you.

Thanks.

I was going to threaten you with a roundhouse kick to the face, but that's good advice.

I think I can compare this to getting an abused pet to trust humans again. She is totally worth the wait and effort.

At worst, she'll realize there's someone better than I who likes her (not hard to do, I'm not that great) and leaves me. I'll be okay if that happens and my life will still be enriched and bettered for knowing her.
