I just caught up with it, but I feel like I missed some. Also my cable is sure that episode 509 is the first episode of the season. What gives?

This season was weird since the Halloween episode that aired earlier this year comes after some of the episodes in this season proper. But also the first episode of the season might have come last, maybe, but also during the Halloween episode. It's weird. The first episode was also made last to accommodate the Halloween episode not airing with the rest of the season.

Yeah, I remember them saying something about the Halloween episode taking place during the first episode, but that's crazy because Dean already has his emo persona. So I don't know.
