I dreamt about being a psychic, the kind that can hover and bend stuff like paper (all I tried was paper anyway).
But I wasn't very good at it, so this kid in my class (< sudden change to school) thought me a trick to make it easier for me, and it worked.
then I had a sudden attack of calf muscle cramp (right leg) in my dream, GREAT PAIN!!. everything after that point is fuzzy and can't remember.
And when I woke up this morning with a sore right calf muscle.....I apparently slept though a cramp attack that was very, very painful. still hurts while writing this at work.
I AM THE HARBRINGER OF THE SPICY ROOSTER APOCALYPSE!
I AM A HYDROGEN BOMB IN A NECKTIE!
I HOLD THE FLAMES OF A THOUSAND COLLAPSED STARS!
I AM...BOBRACHA!
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power, derives from a mandate from the masses!

The harry potter kids were in this dream. It started with Harry. I think I was harry. I was inside this room and I was unable to leave though I had no idea where I was. I know I had been brought here against my will. I made it into the only room I could enter and then I found myself on this couch looking at a tv screen that had some new Super Mario game up. It was kind of sweet and incorporated actual run-around battles to save the princess. I was playing from the beginning and...got kind of distracted by the awesome cutscenes. I finally told myself that I would "buy it later and play the whole thing" so I reluctantly put the controller down and looked around. I discovered that I was in a room with random, small cages stacked in two rows. There were about 10 in all. I went over to look at them but discovered that the floor was like lava (not literally, but it actually burned to put my feet on the ground [though I didn't actually feel it...I just knew]) so I had to climb over the couch and such to get there. I succeeded and was informed by a voice (I think it looked like the princess on the tv screen from Mario, but didn't sound as annoying as her) something about why they were in there. I don't remember what that something was, but I do remember taking one of the sad-looking creatures on the shelf (since that's what it was now) and inspecting it, then saying something to it. It transformed into a really pretty flower-like clock (a small one on a stand so it could stay on the shelf). There was a dramatic pause and close-up on the clock part, and then an echo of cheering when the second hand began to move.
I left the room (it no longer felt like lava to touch the floor) and discovered that there were a bunch of little things on the ground. I suppose I had known about them earlier because the reason I went into the video game cage room was in order to find more of these little gems on the ground. I think it was like collecting rupees or something because I kept running around collecting as many as I could, and you could actually hear the "ding!" of success. So I continued running around collecting them (though this time I was normal sized and they were still tiny; unlike every other time where either I was tiny and so were they or I was normal sized and they were huge). During my collection, I turned around at one point and found myself looking down at a little puppy. I bent down to pet it and it talked to me, demanding to know where the dog food was because "how else was it gonna get fed?" It spoke in a Godfather voice.
I didn't know the where the dog food would be kept, so the puppy sighed and disappeared, then returned a little later by climbing back in through the window. "I guess this is all I've got," it said, depositing a small bag of dog food on the ground. Meanwhile the man who was keeping me here was startled and had this weird idea that I was escaping. So he bolted from his room and found his way to this overlook that could see down into the part of the house I was being kept. He looked down and found Harry (I've been "watching" for a while, by this point) in the corner of the room, looking back up at him.
Harry smirked and said something like "good luck making it down 15 or 16 flights" and began climbing this random pipe. The man was concerned that Harry would get out but kept saying things like "you'll never be able to climb that" in an attempt to discourage. Harry made it about two flights on the pipe and then was stuck.
Something happened and suddenly it wasn't just Harry there. Hermione was there as well, and she randomly served as some sort of distraction. There was this open area that was only open for, like, a second, and then it turned into some sort of office space instead. A floating office space, mind you, with a regular office area immediately next to it. No ceiling, though, just the desks and the floor. I become Hermione (yet I'm still watching from the outside for most of it) and begin swinging. My goal is either to cause chaos or actually get something; I'm not sure witch. But as I'm swinging around the clerks at the desk actually seem fairly unconcerned...I grab some things off the desks, including a set of keys, which I throw to another person at another part of the clerk desk.
The man from before arrives through a door and chaos breaks out. I'm still swinging, but I've lost my momentum and am attempting to kick back into the air by running with it along the floor and jumping. It doesn't work, but I know that Harry and the others are escaping so I cause as much more chaos as I can. After a while I can run no longer, and end up finding myself either tackled or surrounded by a couple of girls around my age. I scramble to keep away for a bit longer, but then for some reason I'm on the ground and there's one girl just standing there, and the rest of the people have run off to try and catch Harry. The girl stares at me for a bit, then holds out her hand and drags me to her bedroom (her favorite animal must be the rabbit, because the room was filled to the brim with oddly-designed rabbit stuff, along with a huge bed). She tells me to hide in this room and shuts the door behind her as she leaves again. I look around, then take refuge behind the bed, curling up as much as I can.
It's a while before she returns, and she's not alone this time, though I don't move from my hiding spot. She crawls around the other side of the bed and peeks at me, raising an eyebrow and asking if I'm going to be "more mature now". Basically asking that I come out from hiding.
The dream switches back to Harry and the others. I can't tell if they're on the run or not, but they're in this random ocean or something. They've all got ropes attached to them which are keeping them on a long leash to this boat, and then I'm there posing as someone; I don't know who this time, but Harry is off to the side so it's not him. We're having a grand old time swimming around though we keep trying to move forward and it doesn't work.
Randomly, we end up by the shore and I look up to see that there are a bunch of people from India wearing black (suits for the men; dresses for the women). We decide that we've run into a funeral, and for some reason we decide to show respect by kneeling in the water in our bathing suits. I glance behind me and see that suddenly, there are more and more people showing up and kneeling behind us. I decide that it's time for us to get out of there and grab Harry's arm as I reach him. (After a row or so of kneeling people, there were rows and rows of chairs in the water.) He is confused but we attempt to make our way out.
It changes while we're trying. As I get tired of the endless rows I sink into a chair and then instead of in the water, we're in these plush movie seats in what looks like a movie theater on an airplane. Yet I know we're not on a plane; we're probably back inside that house. It looks like we're watching Hercules or something, and everyone is happy about that, but then randomly the movie fades out and instead character profiles pop on to the screen. They're showing the people that I've been thinking were the Harry Potter folks, but in a different sort of character sketch with different names. It's like a miniature movie because the character sketches zoom in and around to focus on people 1 by 1, and then as they're focused on the character 'comes alive' on the screen and looks at themselves in confusion and such.
I know there were other little things included. Like for instance during the character sketches I had a flashback of sorts in my own dream to a list where next to where Hermione's name was there was an 'alternate name' (probably to keep her safely in the girl's room, under a false identity so she wouldn't be found out). It started with an A...and the last name started with an H. I think. Audrey...Hasher? Haynler? Something like that. It was interesting. I think I'll keep the name around.

We were at the store. I had gone with Jess B, Kyle, and Yuri, but I separated from them and went shopping on my own. It was a store kind of like a Walmart, yet also like a warehouse of goods. I wandered around for a while until I came to the far left corner of the store. On the ground were two baby dolls and two women who were...well, it looked like they were competing to feed and burp them, but they weren't doing it in the normal way. One of the woman had the doll on the ground and was just forcing the bottle to its mouth over and over again, then pushing down on its chest like she was trying to give it the heimlich maneuver from the front. I stood watched for a while, then sat and watched for a while, then helped them clean everything up when they were done. They seemed surprised by that, but then I walked away to continue wandering the store. (Later they found me again while I was purchasing my stuff and the one lady placed a bag with my name on it down next to my own bags. I guess it was a gift or something, though I never opened it.)
My shopping completed (or so I thought), I headed outside the store to wait and found myself looking at rows of bookcases filled with books for sale. Naturally, I went in and browsed for a while. Gradually, there ended up being more than just books; I know there was a row of single-colored or white shirts and shorts. Some of my friends also ended up out there, browsing the aisle. I specifically recall Nuwh going around picking out white shirts and gym shorts.
I decided to head back inside to see if Jess and the others were done. They saw me and waved but didn't seem ready to leave yet so I wandered over to the far right corner of the warehouse store this time. I found myself looking at some nearly empty shelves that had leftover holiday candy on them (specifically, an entire shelf of huge orange lollipops; and by huge, I mean way larger than my hand). I picked one up, studied it, and was starting to hand it back when I blinked and instead, I had it open and was starting to eat it in the store. Having not intended on doing that, I started to put it back again when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and came face to face with a disapproving look on a girl about my age. "Opening that in the store, eh?" she asked me. There was no way I could deny it, so I nodded and shrugged, saying that I was planning on paying for it. "I'd let you get away with it, but too many people have been doing it these days," she continues, as if not hearing what I had just said, and starts to walk away. It's then that I notice what she's wearing.
"Hey, those letters! You're a Brother of AphiO, aren't you?" I called over to her, having recognized the letters on her shirt. She's wearing a speckled gray hoodie with light blue letters. It's pretty. She turns and agrees, and I introduce myself because I'm a Brother as well. We start to talk about what chapter she's from (she claims she's from the same chapter as me, though I don't recognize her, and we try to puzzle out if she's an alumni or something) and tall guy appears wearing the same letters. We decide to move this little 'reunion' over to an empty aisle, where we sit down and start chatting. Gradually, more and more Brothers show up and sit down. Eventually Brothers from my chapter show up and I start introducing them to people (keeping in the back of my head the thought of exchanging contact info at some point).
It's around then that a person I didn't really want to see showed up. Though I usually just ignore this person, I was filled with the overwhelming desire to get up and leave. I started to do so when opportunity arose; one of the girls, who was in a wheelchair, needed some help because she wanted to head back to the car. I swiftly agreed to help. The person I didn't want to see attempted to follow and talk to the girl in the wheelchair, but eventually fell back. I drop-kicked the door's handle and we headed out the back door to her car.
We walk down the aisle of the parking lot, and somehow or another, I lose track of her. I attempt to find her, but I can't see her anywhere, so I end up heading back to our hotel room (yes, hotel room) which was right on the other side of the parking lot. I ask if anyone's seen her (yes, we're all in there now). They haven't, so I decide to head back out. I don't get much of a chance to look for her before this younger girl (maybe 13) wheels up to me, asking if I'd fix her nametag because she couldn't get it herself. I agree and then spend the next few minutes struggling with it because for some reason, the easy task was extremely difficult.
I eventually get it and go to hand it back to the girl, but for some reason, something I said must have offended her because she breaks down into angry tears. To my surprise, she lurches out of the wheelchair and begins to run away, though it's that awkward run of someone who's not used to it yet. Not wanting her to get hurt, I chase after her.
I'm now watching from above, rather than in the first-person perspective that I've been in. The scene takes place in a hallway of the hotel, where the corner rounds into the next staircase going up. There's a man in a suit on the staircase who is pointing a gun at another man in a suit standing in the hallways who is pointing a gun back at him. "Stalemate again," the man on the stairs says, but at that moment, another man in a suit comes around the corner dragging the girl into sight. The man on the stairs takes this distraction to bolt. The man in the hallway chases after him, and the man dragging the girl takes his time and follows after them.
I'm back to being me again. I know what has just taken place and attempt to secretly follow after the man who had been holding the girl. I think I'm Nancy Drew (yay!). I follow the man down one flight to this area that can go up or down. He starts to go up the stairs so I hide myself on the down staircase, and I notice another man coming down from the way we had just come (turns out, there are men on each of the staircases who move down a flight when the man I'm following moves). He says something to the man, who agrees and instead heads for the down staircase. I scramble and hide, and he passes by without noticing me. This repeats at least one more time where I thought that I'd be seen but, if I was, it wasn't obvious.
I follow the man into this train car and I sit "inconspiciously" in the back, watching for a while. At one point, the man casually stood up and walked past me. I looked away, pretending that I was just another passenger.
I start to think that my plan worked when I felt a hand grab the back of my shirt collar and yank my head up, cutting off most of my air. I struggled a bit and he dropped my head down without letting go. Almost instantly, he jerked my head up again. He finally let go and my head drops; I'm overcome with dizziness, unable to move. A moment later, his hand returns. A bandana is lowered over my face and tied tightly, and then he leaves me again.. When I regain my breath, I glance over and see that the man is pointing a gun at me. I stare at him, wide eyed, and then squeeze my eyes shut, not wanting to see when he finally pulls the trigger. I wait, but nothing happens, and I peek again to see an older man with a hand on the gun, shaking his head. "The gun won't help, the poison..." he's muttering, but I didn't catch the rest of the sentence. It worked, and the man put the gun down, though a bit reluctantly.
After putting the gun down, the man turned away for a minute. When he turned back around, he was holding a large breather mask. Glancing around, he puts it on, and a little boy seated behind him (I knew he was the man's son, for some reason) follows suit. A few other people put them on, but not everyone in the train car seems to have one. The older man who convinced the man it wasn't worth it to shoot stands up holding one of the masks and begins preaching at the passengers. I think he was trying to get them to purchase the masks...or come over to their side. Or something. "Do not be content to use labeless masks!" he kept repeating, his voice slow and drawn out, with deep breaths as though it was difficult for him to breathe. Through the train window, I could see that we were slowly approaching a tunnel of sorts. I didn't know what was going on, but for some reason I had the feeling we were going to end up being gassed or something, and that only the people with the masks would be saved.
I was pretty much awake by this point and was keeping myself halfway in the dream through sheer will by this point (I wanted to see what was happening), but with the inkling that I didn't actually want to see everyone on the train be murdered (or whatever equally bad thing would end up happening when we reached that tunnel) I told myself to get up. Even when I woke up, it still felt like I had that dang bandana tied around my face.

I didn't go up to look under my bed, instead I went up to the kitchen and called the police. I told them that I just killed someone, and there were others that she killed. Then I leaned up against the wall and started throwing up. The cop car pulled up in front of my house just as the sun was rising. He came in and I was covered with blood and vomit. Then we both hear someone coming down the stairs, and walking towards the kitchen. The kitchen door opens, and my mom is asking me why I was pounding around in the basement all night. I tell her and the cop what happened, and I go upstairs to look under my bed, but nothing was there! We all went down to the basement and nothing was there either! I went back downstairs and my mom told me that I must have been sleeping downstairs because there was a blanket out on the couch.
I yelled 'NO' and ran to the upstairs bathroom and kept throwing up. Figuring i was going to get arrested anyway, I changed my clothes, but then ran out the front door onto a strange street that I remember from some other dream. There were three big sheets of wood covering doorways in three different storefronts. a HUD appeared with arrows telling me to kick one down. I kicked down the one in the middle and went inside. There was a dilapidated foyer with a broken down staircase that didn't have all the stairs, and wasn't connected to the wall in some places. Then some little girl dressed in a gymnastics thing and her mom walked past me and up the stairs. I followed, and there was this gymnastics place I used to go to for open gym at the top of this ghetto looking building. I looked around and saw this old guy, Leonard, who used to work there, and told him I was going to the looney bin. THEN I woke up for real in my bed. I wasn't 100% sure if I was actually awake or not, but then my stupid dog jumped on me.

I don't remember most of my dream anymore but I know it involved going to some sort of "doctor's office". I went there, like, five times, and I have no clue why because it seemed like I just gave them a piece of paper the first two times and then the rest of the times was just like "just use my form from earlier" and then left.
The end of my dream was amusing though. I was downstairs sleeping on the couch (it looked more like the old couch, not our current one) but the room didn't quite look the same. I was "unable to sleep" for whatever reason and was entering that time of night where everything leaves me paranoid when I heard a whisper, "Scotty..." It came from the corner of the room, and I remember freaking out to...someone? I may have been typing to someone on my computer. Anyway I was freaking out because "I just heard a whisper and no one here could have done it because everyone else in the house is asleep!!" I wasn't overly panicked, but it was a little creepy. Then something else happened that I also freaked out about (I think I heard people walking around upstairs) so I crept to the bottom of the staircase and looked up in time to see a whisper of clothing disappear through the open bathroom door. Part of me was like "oh that's my my sister, okay. No problem" but another part of me was like "You only think it's your sister!! That door's open, there's no way she's just hiding behind the door it never moved!" And then I glanced to the side of the door and saw my mom's head coming around the corner. She had this glazed look in her eyes at first, like she was sleepwalking and she started to head down the stairs. I was like "Heck no not happening!" and I grabbed some sort of metal pole that was suddenly next to me, and I started waving it at her going "back up! I don't think so!" She came out of her daze and was just staring at me confused, and I retreated back to my mouch. She came downstairs and just kind of stood there on the staircase looking at me, asking what I was going on about. I crawled back under the covers and put them up to my chin and just glared at them all, pointing out all the weird things that were happening and that I didn't like them.
Then I closed my eyes and actually woke up.

My dream started off playing some weird version of 'Find Voltorb' similar to the pokemon dream world minigame I had something that looked like a dragon radar but instead of a blipping light, it showed me an arrow pointing towards where i needed to go, and a number indicating the closeness.
anyway, the dream started out near my apartment. it was 100 degrees outside and raining, but the sun was out. I started to run north towards where the arrow was pointing. I ran between some houses, and towards a fork in the road. I went left, and there was this big hill, so i ran up the hill. at the very top, i was teleported up to some clouds that i could walk on and see the whole 'world' from. at the very southern tip was my apartment, then all round the clouds and the hill there were small houses. At the very northern part of the dreamworld, there were some small silos and windmills with long winding paths between them. on the western side there were some impossibly balanced cliffs that had big houses on them with narrow streets paved with bricks.
after i was done checking out the dreamscape, i went back to the fork, and took the path to the right. I remember running on a flagstone path between some small yellow houses that had little yards and gardens. the stones were wet from the rain, but i didn't slip at all on them, and i was very light. after checking my radar, it pointed north, and displayed '26' i ran between some more houses, and started checking the bushes, but was too far away still. There were some streets ahead that i didn't see from the clouds, and a ravine where the arrow was pointing. i hopped over a railing, and started walking through the damp ravine.
Then the stupid fedex guy knocked on my door and the dog started barking and woke me up. i really wanted to explore more, because the impossibly balanced houses, and the ravine were parts of two other dreams i've had. i wanted to see where they went, and if anything else was conencted.

I (or rather, a blonde who looked considerably like Nancy Drew, though I was playing as her for most of it) was on my way to this house with this guy (who I didn't know and whose name I never said out loud, so I don't know that either...but I feel like he looked like one of the men from Burlesque; the black-haired one). I was nervous for reasons I don't quite know, either. I think that I had been to the area before, the house before, or just plain knew something was going to happen once we got there (thinking back, I'm pretty sure it was that the me in the dream had been through this entire scenario before, and was now determined to change the outcome).
We're at the house now, about to climb the metal staircase that leads to the front door (it looked somewhat like a fire escape ladder that's permanently open and attached to the side of the house) when I notice a man making his way towards the corner of the house we had just passed. I pale and grab the guy I'm with's arm (let's call him Joe, so I can stop saying "the guy" and get myself confused with the other guy shows up) and whisper urgently, "Joe, that's the guy! He's the one who's going to..." The words have gone away. I think dream-me was thinking back to the last time I had been to this house (though whether it was another dream entirely or just an extension of this one that I didn't get to see...) and apparently this guy was the one to watch out for, though I'm secretly still clueless on what's going on, all the while now completely paranoid.
Joe acts quickly and ushers me into the house, telling me to hide while he distracts the guy long enough. I frantically look around. I'm inside this living room of sorts with couches surrounding this long, low table with open space underneath to store things. I make a run for the table, as it's really the only place to hide in this room, and duck down. Cue camera angle of looking through the open space under the table, thinking that the man would obviously see me if he entered the house (which I knew he would, because somewhere in my head I knew he lived here too). I debated finding a new place to hide, actually got up for a second, then saw the door handle turning and flattened myself back on the ground. Heart pounding, I watched as the man entered and headed upstairs without looking around. He had short, blonde-white hair and a piercing gaze, eyes a mix of light blue and gray. He's a large, muscular man, on the taller side (maybe...5'8"?). He looks like he works out a lot. He's wearing a white t-shirt and long blue shorts.
When he's gone, I'm able to breathe again until I notice a small black pug making its way up the stairs after him. I know this is his dog, but as I watch I'm just hoping that he'll open the door for it. The pug scratches at the door and whines but the door doesn't open, and for some reason I feel obligated to make sure the dog gets into the room. I walk slowly up the stairs and knock, then try the door lightly. The door's locked, as expected, so I balance on the third or fourth stair to the top and wait. When it opens, the man looks surprised and suspicious to see me standing there. I point at the dog and say awkwardly, "The door was locked, I wanted to make sure he got in okay." He nods, and then I'm "alright, see you..." and I make my way slowly back down the stairs, feeling his eyes boring into my back until I reach the bottom and he shuts the door again. Then I bolt outside.
I guess I had expected to meet Joe outside since I hadn't seen him come in, but he was nowhere to be found. Dream-me wasn't panicked or anything about that, so I guess I knew he'd be coming back to meet me in a few minutes. I settled down to wait on one of the bottom steps where I could still see over the bushes lining the area. It was dark out (it had been dusk when we got there, so no surprise) but somehow I still busied myself looking at some paperwork that was suddenly there. I'm also suddenly sitting at some kind of picnic table (maybe I got up from the stairs and walked a bit first), still outside, with just enough light to work by. I don't hear anyone approach, but suddenly the man is standing there smiling down at me. I jump, startled, then play it cool as he settles into the seat across from me and asks what I'm doing. I explain that I'm filling out some paperwork for my class that I was required to do while I was here.
Apparently, I had worked on the paperwork before (either the last time I was here, or earlier in the dream) because I had a new one in my hand, yet was seeing how much of the old one was still applicable. Some of my responses were written in Italian (had I been in high school the last time this happened, when I was taking Italian?) and the top subject line first said something about education, then something about massage therapy (which even dream-me knew hadn't been there before). I remember glancing through the page to see if there was anything involving mass-media that I could switch to since that's my major now.
All while I'm looking at the papers, the man is watching me. It's really creepy but I can't ask him to leave, I'm too nervous about it. Then out of nowhere, this little girl skips up next to me. She's a tiny thing with long, straight black hair and a headband. She's wearing a white and purple summer dress. She smiles at me and says "The room's painted." I look at her, confused, and she points to a circular she placed on the table in front of me. "You told me to paint the room," she says, stressing the sentence and saying each word slowly while pointing to a light blue splotch, though her eyes never left mine. I figured out that this was some form of code, and that I should know the meaning of it, but didn't. Still, this girl being here was an excuse to pretend not to focus on the man, to see what he'd do, and so I turned and began talking to the girl.
While we were talking, something about phone numbers was mentioned. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the man take out a marble notebook and flip it open to a page with a list of names and numbers. Without seeming to, I subtly scanned the list upside-down to see if my name and number were on there. They weren't, but the man was carefully writing my name (Nancy Drew, woo!) on the bottom line, as well as a handful of numbers and question marks. I suppose mine was said or shown on a cell-phone for a few seconds, but I saw that some of his numbers were already wrong so inwardly I sighed in relief. The girl noticed what he was doing and saw the numbers as well, but she rolled her eyes and said something about "never getting it done that way", or something else to the effect of "they're wrong, idiot" without actually telling him that.
The girl and I shared a secret smile, and then I woke up.

I dreamed that I found an entire Star Wars series that I had never seen before in a store. The books were older, probably from the New Republic era, and I just kept finding more of them. They had the older style of realistic drawings on the covers, and they were faded a little bit due to how long they'd been there, I suppose.
The first one I picked up was a large paperback (large as in, it was the size of a hardcover). The main focus of the cover was a woman standing there in a Stormtrooper's uniform. Her helmet is off and tucked in the nook of her arm, and she's looking towards the reader with a mix of emotions on her face: part confusion, part fear, and part annoyance. The woman was familiar to me, but until I read the inside cover, I didn't realize that it was Leia standing there. Looking again, I made the connection, especially due to the somewhat familiar hairstyle (they went with the looped, dangling braids with at least part of the hair). The inside of the cover went on to talk about Han going off for some reason or another that escapes me. I think he was doing something with Lando. The summary then explains that Han's departure and Luke and the others being busy with other political and Jedi related things, it has left Bounty Hunter (insert name because I didn't recognize it here) the perfect opportunity to go after Leia, who is somewhere (I forget where) doing politically-related things. The summary actually says that the bounty hunter succeeds and takes her somewhere, but unfortunately that is escaping me as well.
The rest of the books in the series (I know they're in the same series because they show the slow removal of the Stormtrooper uniform and its replacement with a different outfit; this action is sometimes not the focus of the book, so another character is larger while it's just in the background) detail other related things. I don't remember most of it because at that point, I was more interested in finding all of them then reading the inside covers, at least until they stopped popping up. I do remember one book, the line at the end saying that Leia had been sold to another person. (I'm kind of thinking that someone offered the bounty hunter more money than the bounty was worth, but I don't remember who, or what they planned to do with her.)
The dream was incredibly realistic to me. I found these books while shopping with my mom and my sister, in a random store that sold bits and pieces of everything. While there, I ended up in a discussion with one of the employees as I tried to ask her where to put back all the books that I didn't want (the Star Wars books had just kept popping up, so I ended up just taking most of the books pile with me to go through them, but when it came time to put the rest back, the place I had gotten them from was filled with other things). She asked me if I was donating things to Goodwill or the Salvation Army, and seemed excited about it. At first, I told her that I wasn't, though my fraternity actually was hosting a day (which was "today" at the time, even in real life) where we volunteer, and I had wanted to participate again, despite having volunteered somewhere else already. She seemed disappointed, and explained to me that some of the stuff in the room was just going to be thrown out otherwise...so naturally, I went to my mom and explained the situation, and we agreed to take what we could fit in our car and go donate it. (Going through the books was kind of interested, since I ended up sitting cross-legged on the ground singing "Defying Gravity" quietly, to the amusement of the people maneuvering around me.)
I honestly didn't realize it was a dream until I woke up. It was so realistic, and actually incorporated all the right amounts of realism, with nothing that screamed "this is a dream!" at me. A wave of disappointment crashed over me when I was jolted out of sleep by my phone ringing...

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.
