I have no faith whatsoever in this project. It actually kind of depresses me./>Thi4f
Actually, I've just seen some screenshots - I'm vaguely hopeful again.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I am pretty stoked. Assassins Creed 4 is coming out and a remake of my most favored game of all time is as well; ROME TOTAL WAR 2!!!!!!!! This looks to be an exciting year for my video game playing. I need to get a new desktop though... Need a job first.
So, Assassins Creed 4 promises to have more naval battles which were, in my opinion, a favorite of Assassins Creed 3. Not only that, but the setting has never been successfully tackled by other games; I have faith that Ubisoft Quebec can crack this niche wide open. The graphics team at Ubisoft have exceeded my expectations with this franchise again and again. I can't convey how much of a "must buy" (or pirate *wink wink*) this game is!
Just look at that those beautiful graphics! Their water textures are top drawer!
Now, this is nitpicking, but the bottom of his boots are horrible. You almost never see them though so that's fine.
Total War is widely accepted as one of the top producers of battle strategy games and Rome was a huge hit. The software has been used by many documentary makers for it's mostly realistic representation of ancient warfare. The nice thing about the Total War series, especially over the past few years, is their universal catering to strategy gamers like myself. Whether you are looking for Feudal Japanese battles, Napoleonic Wars, Greco-Roman fighting, Total War has you covered. While, I feel that their Medieval games were lacking (although at the time Total War Medieval 1 was a huge hit), they have moreover consistently produced solid strategy games. That being said, I suspect that due to their recent history (remaking Shogun and Rome) they may produce a top notch Medieval Warfare remake that blasts others out of the water. All that aside, Rome Total War is going to kick some bodacious ghetto booty! So, watch for a special on Steam! Pre-Order is available now. I suspect depending on how Black Flag does SEGA may take a shot at a naval/1600s Total War; sort of an adultish in-depth Sid Meijer's Pirates.
That's the original.
We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!
