Doesn't Fringe air on Friday nights? That's the night shows go to die, nobody watches TV on Fridays.

We just finished watching the season finale. Walter pulled perhaps his biggest WTF moment yet, which is no mean feat.

Yeah, it does air on Friday nights. Unfortunately, most shows do go to die in the Friday night slot.
However, there have been exceptions. The X-Files were in a Friday night slot for YEARS.... something like 6 seasons, and they carried on.
Since Fringe is like the new age X-Files I think they can do it too. But maybe not. Who knows these days. People don't want Sci-Fi anymore, they want vampires that glitter in the sunlight.

I've been late on catching up with the series. I still haven't finished season 3 and have season 4 on reserve in my hard drive.

How did I forget to bump this topic when Fringe started back up? Blasphemy.

Invince! Make sure that wife of yours is keeping up to date with the show, then tell her to come back here and post about it. =(

On the subject of the crazy, Observer-filled world, I loved Markham's scene in the season premier. I can't say I'm entirely surprised at how he ended up.
I'm also curious to see what will become of that Loyalist from the second episode, if anything.

Nearly a week later....

I return!

So far I'm okay with how things are moving along. Tony asked how I would feel/deal with losing that much time, not knowing if your daughter was alive, and then meeting her.... The dynamic of it makes so much tension. I find I'm more concerned for the relationship between everyone than I do about the damn observers. Also, I hope September pops back up somewhere. It's still too early for him to show up, but I can hope.

I had thought about the whole suddenly-meet-your-adult-child thing myself, but I imagine it's all the more profound for someone who actually has a daughter about the same age as young Etta.

Apparently some of the people on Fringepedia (or wherever it is that Thomas gets his information) don't like that the show has kind of turned into a video game, what with the tape-hunting quest. (And apparently the Observers don't bother monitoring cellular calls. xp) I actually haven't seen last week's episode yet, so I'm reserving judgement.

Tony also mentioned the whole phone calls thing. It made me laugh. I don't think it's like a video game. Sure it has a different style since they're no longer studying Fringe cases. It's just a bit more linear. As they go along I'm more than certain they'll find things that'll screw with space time and such.

I am predicting right now that Peter's hair will start falling out within the next few episodes.

Also, this last episode kinda reminds me of when Peter started knocking off Shape-shifters.

Yeah, I thought for sure his hair was going to fall out instantly, just cuz. I feel horrible for Olivia though, now she'll have no one. Let's face it, Peter will never be the same. How could anyone after losing a child? The issue now becomes if this will hurt or help their cause.
