Lord save my soul.
I AM THE HARBRINGER OF THE SPICY ROOSTER APOCALYPSE!
I AM A HYDROGEN BOMB IN A NECKTIE!
I HOLD THE FLAMES OF A THOUSAND COLLAPSED STARS!
I AM...BOBRACHA!
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power, derives from a mandate from the masses!

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I register and solve/rediect calls for a specific client base. in this case our clients are all the government (related) employees of an entire province in Holland who are migrating to Windows 7 OS, roughly 1800 users.

Listened to Caravan Palaces latest offering earlier. It was pretty much what you'd expect - which is to say quite agreeable.
Also listened to MonkeyDog's splendid 00s compilation.

I have so much sympathy for you right now. I thought I'd easily be able to do my job from abroad - I can access the databases all online, I can access/edit all files through ftp and even if something drastic goes wrong I can use VNC to remote view their desktop./>My job is being a first line servicedesk employee.

Today, however, there was a power outage and the server's network configuration seems to have been corrupted. I've spent the past hour trying to guide someone through helping me diagnose what the problem is exactly and how to fix it over the phone. I hate windows, it's terrible at giving you the information needed to diagnose problems - as soon as I get back in the country I'm going to uninstall it on all of the company's computers and replace it with Linux as well as installing an uninterruptable power supply for the server.

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!
