It is pretty great. I love Chicago.

So in my town they restored this historic theater (for the town) and some guys I kind of work with are trying to book shows there, but big time shows, and the first name they're trying to get (and apparently it's very feasible) is Tom Waits. Which probably means I could work back stage and meet Tom Waits. Which would be awesome. (Their list also includes people like The Decemberists, Arcade Fire, and Dr. Dog...so I hope they're very successful)

That's totally bad-ass that you could potentially meet Tom Waits. But given the guy's charisma and general persona what would you even say to him?

My favorite radio station keeps a full playlist of everything that it plays, and earlier today while driving I heard something that sounded very godspeed like. Though... a little more to the point. So I tried to look it up when I got home. I suspect the programmer was drunk (they are all volunteers, after all), because I tried every song within a reasonable time frame, and couldn't for the life of me find the one I heard.
