We're in the middle of 50/50, and I have no idea why.

EDIT: Okay, so the second half was pretty good, but the first half was obnoxious. Or maybe that was just the people I was watching it with. Hard to say.

I hadn't watched Big Bang for a couple of months, so I decided to get myself caught up (since there was no new Pony episode this week...).

Just watched The Red Violin. It was enjoyable. I rather liked the way the story was told/presented.

Nicolas Cage marathon. So far I've watched Matchstick Men, Leaving Las Vegas, Bringing Out the Dead, Bad Lieutenant, The Weather Man and Kick-Ass. I love mostly all of them. I'll probably get to the bad Nicolas Cage soon.

Resumed season 3 of Lost. I left off near the end and don't really remember why I stopped.

Spoiler

EDIT: And we watched Johnny English Reborn during dinner. I expected it to be kinda stupid - and it was, of course - but it was also pretty hilarious. :p

Even Jerry?!

I started watching Raising Hope. I like it a lot. A lot a lot. I have a few problems with it (like why is the baby so unimportant to the show, why is everyone so god damn perfect, etc etc) but it's pretty funny. Not as great as Parks or something, but still great in it's own right (And I think I like it more than I did My Name is Earl)

jerry's work is often adequate.

wasnt there some show like my name is earl where some guy got turned into a dog and had to do a bunch of good deeds? i could never really get into my name is earl because i remembered the fat guy from american history x and it was too strange to see him in a comedic role

Really? That's weird because he got his start as a comedic actor. The first things I ever remember seeing him in were Boy Meets World, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy.

.... there was an episode where they threw jerry a surprise party and thats what ron swanson said about his character.

just watched a terrible movie called a nymphoid barbarian in dinosaur hell. no nudity, and tons of terrible stop motion fighting with a fake looking dinosaur. for the first hour, some batbarian woman ran from dino/people raiders, other barbarians, and a wizard. but he couldnt hide from the remote turning the movie off. i really thought it would be some sort of softcore porn in prehistoric times, but it was more like plan 9 from outer space with dinosaurs.

incidentally, i really like plan 9 from outer space.
