We just got back from Chronicle a little while ago. I don't know that I'll ever watch it again - maybe once more somewhere down the road - but it was pretty good. Better than I expected at the very least.

EDIT: Add X-Men Origins: Wolverine to today's movies. I wouldn't normally watch a movie like this right after seeing Chronicle, but it was due back at the library today.

More so than I expected. My main complaints were that I never felt like he was in any kind of danger, even in the "big" fight at the end, and there were too many characters that barely got to do anything. But I am glad I saw it at least once.

Thursday is usually our Fringe night, but we're all caught up. We ended up watching Super 8 again instead since my brother hadn't seen it yet.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

She didn't seem overly thrilled by it. I was busy watching the move for the most part, but her only reaction to the end of the movie was confusion. I know she was paying enough attention to the movie to understand mostly what was going on (she had asked at the beginning if this was one of those movies where you have to pay attention to understand, and we told her "kind of") but it wasn't like "oh my god, that was a fantastic movie!"
