I just finished season one of Yu Yu Hakusho and started my lovely new Claymore DVD. The English dub isn't as bad as I was expecting, which is good, and so far I've only heard Christopher Sabat playing one minor role who appears in all of two episodes, which suprises me. =p
(And I was watching Yu Yu in Japanese, so I got the original seiyu for Kuwabara, who sounds much funnier than Sabat.)

Found an anime called This Beautiful Yet Ugly World. It was on some free on demand thing on tv so now I'm watching it on the internets.

I have such mixed feelings of Claymore. It was pretty promising and had potential, but the main male protagonist damn annoying, and the series fail big time in the end. I don't know if it's just discontinued or something, I just heard the manga (once again) appears to deliever better. I'd like to read the series as a manga sometime. :/
There's some good soundtrack in the anime series of Claymore though, but overall the series wasn't carried out as well as it could have been.

Currenlty I'm watching Trigun and Samurai Champloo and Kenshin, but they all are too boring in the beginning, even though all the series are very funny.
I hope they'd get more plot intensive soon as I get further in them...

Yes, yes, the Claymore manga is awesome. The ending in the anime was made up so that they could end it at 26 episodes. That part of the manga ends a lot differently and then continues on after a seven-year time jump (kinda like the two and a half-year time jump in Naruto). Though I do agree that the anime has a good soundtrack.

If you want to read the manga, I'd recommend reading from the actual books if only so that things will be translated consistently, but you can also read them here if you want to be cheap.

Actually it was made in Denmark.

I guess an anime would be hard for that movie though, considering it was FILMED WITH A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE.

Also, is Ranma good Billy? I've never watched it, kind of wanted to though.

Ranma's pretty awesome. :D The ending stunk, though, but with how many episodes there are, that hardly matters.

Just finished watching Slayers NEXT (I love that FUNimation itself makes the show available for free on Youtube for whatever reason). It made me a little sad that the middle episodes started becoming formulaic, but it turned out well enough. I had just been planning to watch the first few episodes to see if I wanted to buy it, but I got impatient and watched it all anyway. ^_^"

Anyone here seen Slayers TRY and want to give their opinion on it? It's not as easy to find streaming online for me to preview. I've found the last three episodes so far, but...no, not gonna spoil it that way. =p
