Good good man, Chris. Don't worry, it doesn't disappoint in later episodes. (not like Death Note did after episode 12....)

I've started watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (about time), but none of the torrents I can find have any seeders, so I have to stream each episode online, which is a bother since they don't always work for some reason.

Man, you suck then Stars.

I just had a torrent for that, but then deleted it. Because I wanted to watch it in English, far too lazy to watch it in Japanese. I like to watch things to bed with my glasses off...so...not very good to watched subbed things, don't you think?

I just meant that having characters speak fast makes subtitles even harder to read since they disappear more quickly.

And I plan to buy it as soon as I can be bothered to get out to the store since it's not that long of a series.

I have been having that problem just with anime in English with fast words that pass by quickly.

I started watching Haruhi in English, it's awesome.

Learn to speak the language and you'll have no problem! haha (I tend to watch them without the subtitles to help me keep up with my learning, usually I don't have much trouble and I've only been teaching myself Japanese for about a year now)

ok. just finished Lost season 1 and 2 since I never actually watched it while it was on TV for the last er... 3 years. They were good

Bought Psych, season 1, watching that now. good stuff.

I never said I had trouble with it, just that it requires you to read faster. =p

I can't exactly translate word for word, but I watch things in Japanese without subtitles sometimes myself. I started learning the language 2-3 years ago, though I'm rather rusty at the moment. Too many gaijin around here that don't speak Nihon Go.

haha, this should probably go in the rant topic but whatever. my room mate's (sage's) girlfriend swears to god she can speak japanese, and she constantly uses the word "Nihongo" every time she refers to the word Japanese, but its the only jap word i ever hear her say - so she'll go "oh, that's ok. yeah well that's because its Nihongo" and i tell her "no... its Japanese" and she'll get all pissed off "NIHONGO MEANS JAPANESE" and im like "yeah, if you were actually speaking japanese, in which case it would be OK to use that word because you're actually speaking the language, but if you're speaking english, then Japanese is the correct word to use." and she gets all mad because I know she doesnt know crap about japanese XD

Ok, so, today I watched some movie called "Frailty" or something about a 2 brothers and their dad who could apparently see evil demons inside of people and they were going out killing everyone, which was awesome because at the end you find out they're not really crazy and it was all true.

Heh, since we're already discussing it, I was talking with someone else online, and they told me about a girl from their school who used to always say things like "Nani?" to be cute or something. Then she'd get mad when other people said it because it was "her word." =p

I haven't seen anything new since last posting in here. Still watching the rest of Hikaru no Go for now.

Good lad! Not enough people know of Zero these days; it's nothing special, but very watchable. Second series is pretty decent, too!

Finished Haruhi, it was awesome, I loved the Detective Conan parody.

So now I'm watching Detective Conan/Case Closed.
