I finally got a chance to explore this island today.


it was painfully hot. around 90*F. so i looked up at the sun



it was even worse because it was reflecting off the water for super hurtyness plus five


After i walked around the island a few times, and swam across the other side of the river and back, i started taking shots.






The water wasnt deep at all, but im sure my shoes were shot by now anyway. i got a yucky blister from them b/c i didnt wear socks.


Then out of nowhere i found a dead snake in the water.


I tried to pick it up or turn it over, but it turns out it wasnt quite dead. i almost dropped my camera in the water


so i grabbed a stick, and poked it a few times before hoisting it out of the water, and plopping it on the land.



i found it strange that it had a visible neck wound, which should be fatal, and gouged out eyes, but still moved when i poked the tail end with the stick. if i poked above the wound, it wouldnt respond at all. i hold this as irrefutable proof that zombies exist. i have video evidence of this occuring, but have nowhere to upload it to.


by then my feet were hurting from my shoes, and im sure ill be a lobster tomorrow, so i went home to play with the kitty i found. surprisingly, she ISNT dead like all the other animals i find and take pictures of (lobster, snake, etc...) she was just wandering around outside the apartment, and i was able to grab her. im pretty sure she's stray because ive seen her eating out of the dumpster at 2am, and she didnt have a collar or anything.

i go on my days off. this one was knda far, 20 miles deep into inbred territory. i swear i was at a gas station and this old guy was hitting on this like 14 year old working there.
