Richard Sherman's interview is just one example of why both teams are looked at as villains.

I totally agree with you about Kaep, MD. He is a 1 look and run QB, which is not ideal in the NFL.

Old flash signature has been revived for nostalgic purposes. Too bad RpgWizard hasn't been revived. :\

He's basically Christian Ponder but can run better and with a better O-line.

I honestly don't think either is a particularly bad QB, but I think both just needed more time. Especially Kaep since the 49ers could win the Super Bowl if they were just a little better. Kaep just has really bad accuracy at times.

I think Russell Wilson is extremely overrated personally, he's not a "bad" QB, by any means, but he gets a lot more credit for the Seahawks success than he deserves.

I really like Kaepernick as a QB though, he sort of reminds me of Michael Vick, except that Kaepernick can throw most of the time. He just needs to work on his decision making skills. He makes a lot of boneheaded decisions, especially against good defenses like the Seahawks (as evidenced when he chose to throw to the Seahawks defender, rather than the more open player in the middle of the field in the 4th quarter.)

I think of the two, Kaepernick is more likely to have a good long NFL career. With Wilson's size, and his play style, I could just as easily see him out of the NFL once the Seahawks acquire a better QB, or have a chance to acquire a better QB.

Give Kaepernick another year or two, and he'll be great, I think. Many NFL QBs struggle their first couple of years in the NFL, as much of their success/failure rate comes from the experience that comes with play calling in the middle of games.

I seldom watch any sports, but I am glad for tonight's game simply because it almost completely emptied the store and gave us a chance to clean up after people.

Yeah, I picked Seattle-Denver for the Super Bowl the past two seasons haha.

I really hope this game doesn't have a change of date. There's talk that snow could force the Super Bowl to a different date, which would suck unless it was moved to an earlier date.

I doubt they would move it with all the planning that goes into it. It would have to be a really bad storm to move the date, I would think.

Have we done predictions for Super Bowl yet? With inclement weather, I say:

Broncos 27 Seahawks 23

I'm going to go with 24-21 with the Broncos winning on a last minute drive (since that's how the playoffs seem to be)

Though, I'm just saying, I won't be surprised if I got the score right, but the winner wrong.

Would anyone be down with doing a fun game for the Super Bowl? I participated in this at a party held every year at a family friend's house and it's also played at bars I'm told. 10x10 grid that represents all of the potential numbers the scores could end in. You claim one or several of the 100 places on the grid. If the score corresponds to your place at the end of each quarter, you win part of the pool.  Now we cannot really do something like $1 for every space since, you know, Internet.  But we could still dole out spaces and have fun prizes for the winners. We would also not know what the numbers for the spaces are until they are all claimed, then they would be filled in. That way you can't choose good numbers, it would all be luck.

So when are we picking squares? Kind of a short window of time now. Or will you just randomly divide it up?

Also:

Yaaay (this could go into the video game forums too but meh)

I've wanted something like this since I started to really get into Football, but stupid EA. 2015 is so far though.

This could also go in a Video Game topic but...

I love this series, what better way to celebrate the Super Bowl than by breaking it apart?

I'll definately be getting that when it comes out. I've been waiting for an alternative to EA.

Though with the exclusive rights finally over there will probably be 3or 4 different games coming to market around that time

If you want to claim squares go ahead either here or a PM to me I suppose. If you give coordinates relative to the picture I posted that's fine. The numbers will get jumbled anyway.  Otherwise I guess I'll just randomly assign people squares who showed interest. And you can pick a lot. Like, more than 10 if you want since I don't think we have 10 people who will be doing this.
