OMG, the Arena - it's glorious!

Yes the arena is ready for use. It would be great to have 4 players try it out sometime. Just /warp arena to get there.

Warning!

 

There are death dealing traps inside this arena. Bring nothing valuable inside and approach with extreme caution. Should you see Bean inside, run and hide! He is a PVP expert and killed me probably 4x to every time I killed him.

So apparently the update comes out tomorrow. And there's a new world setting that allows you to build super high! But we can't use it :(

Yeah if you are still running 1.6.4 you can get on the server just fine. Might be a few days before we can go to 1.7.2.

Nah, it auto-patched. So I'm stuck waiting, I guess.

Yeah, if anyone has a spare 1.6.4 jar sitting around that might be nice..

 

Apparently there are some issues with the new Minecraft update that affect how servers work so the bukkit team think it's more likely to take them weeks rather than days to get a new version ready.

Damn, it auto updated me, too. And I just got back into playing.

Easy way to fix this:

 

Load the Minecraft launcher

Select new profile under where your username is listed.

Where it says "Use version" select 1.6.4

Save profile under a new name.

Play as you normally would :)

Barricaded the villagers in the two villages to the Northeast inside their houses by blocking the doors. In theory, the towns won't get overrun by zombies now. I've already had to deal with zombie villagers, and those guys have some sweet stuff.

I know there was at least one offering a diamond pickaxe with Unbreakable III for two regular diamond pickaxes

Nah, I'd rather build my own when the time comes. I like being self-sufficient when it comes to that stuff.

There is apparently some complicated procedure to turn a zombie villager back to normal, but I cannot be bothered. I've been keeping a grid notebook on me and making sketches of building to make when I can play. Nice way to kill a few minutes.
