I've just gotten a very high paid contract writing copy for Google. They're actually a terrible company to work for if you're freelance, but the pay is right.

This is not something that applies only to your boss.
I can most certainly agree to that. Private sector...government work...somewhere along the line communication is not something most people excel at.
