i read that was the original plan, for cubone to evolve into kangaskhan. but now we're stuck with marowak, and something that's born pregnant. i guess that's a weeeeeeee less dark than your pokemon dying during childbirth, but then magically not because you get it back. actually scratch that, it makes even less sense.

is cubone supposed to be some sort of hermit crab? when it evolves the skull just gets bigger. that doesn't make any sense at all, even in pokemon. it would make the most sense if cubone, as the baby form, were one of the sexually dimorphic evolutions ala combee/vespiqueen, where the males would become marowak and the female would become kangaskhan

There's no harm in thinking about it... right? It's not like I'm thinking about how the skeletal structure of an Onyx works, or even if it has one. Let's be serious here I'm not sitting here wondering about how Diglett and Dugtrio truly work underground. Let's face it; I will never get the chance to actually closely study a Legendary Pokemon due to their elusiveness.
