I actually held the gamepad today in Target. I was surprised on how well it felt in my hands. I was expecting it to at least feel a little weird.
Sadly, for some reason, there were absolutely no demos so that was lame.

If it's the same demo software they had at Best Buy, there should be a Rayman demo. But yeah, it was pretty lame that all the others had grayed-out demo buttons.
EDIT: I thought I posted about this already, but I got to hold the gamepad at Best Buy a couple days ago. It is indeed much more comfortable than I expected.

You can have an HD system that doesn't upscale old SD stuff. It's just nice to have it confirmed.

I don't like that.
I've been thinking about that recently too, and I hope they keep Mother characters in...because I can see the reasoning as to why they would just get rid of them. And I hope the gameplay is still good and not shitty.

I have discovered my reason to get a 3DS.
Not that that doesn't mean just adding it to my list of "eventual console buys"....but still.
Excitement.
Now I just have to actually play through 2 and 3! XD

For handhelds I've always been a nintendo fan. I couldn't give you a good excuse to buy a Vita either, XX.
I wish I had more time to play all the great 3ds games I own, like kid icarus, paper mario, new super mario 2, etc etc.

I have to turn down the 3D part of it at times. You have to be sitting very still for it not to give you headaches. With some games they give you a stand to set it on, but who's going to use that? The 3D part is my least favorite part of the system.

I could really care less about the 3D novelty of the system...the only reason it interests me is because more and more games are coming out for it. They're not completely weaning off the DS games, but they're coming pretty close.
It's the same reason I want a 360 or a PS3.
