because i was doing karate in the garage, and when i was shadow sparring (don't hit the other guy, but don't pull your punches/kicks, other guy has to dodge) i jumped back to dodge a kick, and tore my medial retinaculum. 

edit: i think i might be wolverine. i just walked up to the store and back with no brace, and no pain. my knee is still a little wobbly though.

--got kicked out of the gym for trying to use the machines while obviously injured

-- Got ticket from Eastborough police for headlight (Stars, that's why I wasn't at the meeting on Sunday. He sat on his but for a long time chatting it up with a Wichita copper and I couldn't get to sleep until late.)

- Missed Sunday Meeting

- Had to schedule my car to be fixed. (the right headlight out and I could fix on my own, but am busy this week)

-- had to sit through boring food handler class

-Afterwards was too lazy to drive to Whole Foods to get groceries and went to Dillons instead

+ Finally asked this chick at super cute chick at Dillons for her number and felt ballsy (I've been chickening out for a year because I have issues with woman I actually respect...)

++++++++++ She gave me her number and was visibly excited about it

++ Last night I went for a run that ended up being quite a bit more intense than I had planned.

It's been a relatively good week so far.

So, AWESOME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I want to see her again. I want to ask her out to dinner at Sit@Thai, but still keep the low-key but for sure romantic intention thing going and then be like: "Hey, so I really like you and I want to see you in an official capacity. Botanica. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they're open till 8:00. I'm thinking I pick you up at 5:00. We eat an early light meal at this really great place I know (haven't decided where yet). Then, head over to Botanica; enjoy the scenery and whatnot till close. What do you say?" I really want that first official date to be awesome and I know she likes to be outdoors and Botanica is pretty romantic (or so I've heard). What do you guys think? Any suggestions? (especially from the married folks haha)

I have been with my girlfriend for almost three years and we never really go out on "dates".

 

Or at least think things out. We just let things happen. Also we're just bad at deciding things anyways.

 

So yeah, useless post, but just don't over think things. It isn't as good as letting things just happen naturally.
