+Advisor did not suggest me completely rehauling my project this time around during our meeting.

+Got to skip out of half of choir again today (at the teacher's request)

I came to the computer lab to work on a video project (due Friday). All the clips had been uploaded and named the last time I was in the lab; now all I needed to do was get on Final Cut, edit them into a 60-second video, and find some music to go along with it. Piece of cake, right? Wrong.
Some other person was on the computer that I've been using. Okay, whatever, no big deal, I'll just go use another computer. After all, I made sure to put all the info from the camera onto the external hard drive, so that meant I should be able to work on any other computer, right? Wrong.
As it turns out, none of the footage I had on the hard drive was the actual clip data, it was just clip info. To actually be able to recognize the clips in the project, I would need to go over and get the clip data from the computer currently being used by a fellow classmate. Okay, you know what? The footage is technically still on the camera I have next to me. I'll just pull it from the camera again and have the project recognize the clips. Then I'll finally be able to jump in and get to work on this project, right? Wrong.
I successfully managed to start re-uploading the clips and, after testing the first one or two, determined that they'll be recognized within the project(+). But stupid me, I wanted to make sure I had all the clip data from all the multiple projects I'm working on, not just the one project due Friday (all of the multiple projects are important, and I needed to be sure everything was accessible). My fellow classmate had finally left (+) so I jumped on that computer Time needed? 20 minutes. Baaah.
So I wait out the 20 minutes since I my clips are still re-uploading, and so I have nothing else to do. Finally, the external drive has everything from the other computer, so I bring it over here. In order to get it on this desktop, I need to overwrite the folder currently there. I click "yes" just before realizing that by doing this, I won't be able to work on my project since the clips will be in the folder that's currently rewriting (and therefore untouchable until complete). Time to waste another 20 minutes.
In the meantime, I decide to work on naming some of the clips I uploaded this time. Okay, no problem...except for the fact that, because I displayed myself as someone who kind of knows what they're doing in Final Cut, another fellow classmate who's completely clueless has been asking me questions. I can't very well say "sorry, can't help you", so I help her out. Again. and Again. and Again. Seriously, she keeps asking me the same questions over and over without comprehending past "click here". It's so aggravating.
My 20 minutes of waiting are finally up. However, I then realize, to my dismay, that I have class in about a half hour. That means I don't have time to start working on the project...and to top it all off, I now have to add today's project and files into the external hard drive, thus meaning I have to transfer the entire folder on to it. There are currently 19 minutes left to the transfer and I have class in 8.
