Jeez, I wish. Sure, being classified as a "professional" projectionist is awesome, but feeding a 16mm telefilm projector sucks, especially when the film breaks, and then you have to watch a film about a guy fondling some hog's junk.

Ooh, boy, back from vacation:

-Buncha cleaning and chaos before we left.
-Had to take the animals
-And leave my room open for a ton of bugs to enter
-Winds on the first day were hell to drive through
-And on that day, the dog got sick
-The air conditioning malfunctioned
-The incense caught on fire
-The GPS unit failed miserably
-The rear view mirror broke
-And we had to stop early

-Driving in a car with my mother for ten hours is extremely grating.

+There was a random and comical outbreak of cattle. About twenty five of them mysteriously appeared on the property in the middle of the night, raised hell, and then vanished. Cops showed up looking for them about an hour later.

---- took 2 days of long hours driving in the car to get there.
--- hotel stop in between here and there had a pool that was closed when we got there. >.>

++++++ ran into a friend at her booth in the artist alley whom I haven't seen since I graduated from high school 5 years ago.
--- every other night had to sleep on the floor cuz there was 8 of us to a room and only 2 beds that could fit 2 people ea.
+++ found and got a great deal on a series (minus the last dvd) plus the two movies at the swap meet, and the anime was one of the first ones I'd seen and helped me get hooked to the stuff.
+ learned a tiny bit of kung fu from the 'dojo' at the con
+++++++++ had an awesome time learning how to fight with a dagger using boffers in the Dojo as well.
++++++ turns out I'm pretty darn good (is thankful for all the fencing I did before)
--- but not quite so good with the long swords
+++++ and pretty good with the staff.
++++++ and made some friends among the guys/coaches who are part of the guild who were teaching the kung fu and weapons classes.
++++ they sold the boffers for cheap after all their classes were over and I managed to get six daggers and four spears
---- but no long swords, sold out =(
+++ keeping a pair of each for myself and little bro, giving the rest to anime club.
--- spent way too much over the course of the trip cuz california is expensive
++ but ate well enough.

---- have to be at the meps station in less than three hours so I can get shipped out for military training, which means...
------- If all things go well, i'll be training for between 1.5 to 2 years, (shorter if things don't go well, but I want them to go well...)
----------- and I won't get to see my friends for all of that time
------- nor post here for probably most of that time. Maybe be able to here and there, after the first 3 months or so...


So I guess this is my goodbye to you all... for now and far unto the unforseeable future. =(
