+last rehearsal for Punk Grandpa is finally done! (one woman show made into 6 person ensemble)
++unexpectedly got cast in another show featuring dinosaurs and presidents
+++plus the other one i knew i was cast in for august
+\- burnt out, but at least it's productive
---didn't get cast in a fall show

++ Felt good
++++ Taught a class of children who can't pay attention well and I am really good at teaching them because they are doing quite well.
--------------- On my way out from the Y, going to go to lunch, across the parking lot I saw the ex and her husband walking in. I don't think she saw me.
------------------------------------- Made it to lunch with dignity, then locked myself in the men's room of 5 Guys and had a panic attack for about 5 minutes.

+ Theoretically getting paid today to sit around by myself for 8 hours waiting for four different shipments to arrive at a new store
+ Also getting paid for travel time/mileage
- Hour and a half drive
- Meaning it's 6 a.m. and I'm already up and about to head out to be there for 8
- Doors apparently don't open till 8:30 so I'll get to loiter for a half hour
+++ Getting paid to probably sit around doing nothing
- I'm really only complaining about how early it is because sleeping sucked hardcore last night thanks to the heat + a broken fan

++++i was funnier than one comic who thought he was hot shit for being from a mostly jewish community and totally ignored me when i was hanging out outside before i got changed because the theatre's in a mostly black community, and near a homeless shelter. he also did the same jokes at open mic he did at the paid show we did two weeks ago. just totally devaluing to himself.

it's soooo easy to do, just find stuff that's fun, and do it. i decided a long time ago that the whole process of school, work, family, death wasn't for me. not even in a way that i just want to mess around until i figure out what i want to do with my life, but that what i want to with my life, most people would call messing around. the haunted house and theatre, and comedy all seem stupid from the outside, but i kind of feel like this guy here. i guess this is what "do what you love and money will follow" means, or maybe more realistically, make money first so you can go mess around with what you like doing. i had a long talk with the haunted house owner about how some of the people he has to hire are totally lacking in common sense and are deadbeats, or had problems with their upbringings, and don't know any better to do any better, not knowing how little it really takes to be happy, healthy, and self sufficient.
-4 nights this week with < 5 hours of sleep
+woke up alarmless and made cookies
++theatre group liked them at early rehearsal
+++haunted house likes my costume so far
--super burnt out. being an introvert is unmanageable sometimes.
