Been playing Batman on NES. I think it has infinite continues, and if it does, I'm definitely going to try to beat it.

When I was but a wee lad, my father, brother and myself would play that game constantly. We were never able to beat the Joker.

Been playing Super Mario 3D Land lately. Pretty awesome actually. Very good blend of Mario elements. I'm sad I had it on the shelf for so long. I like that it allows you to boost the 3D effect. <3 3D.

On another note, I'm tempted to get Resident Evil: Revelations for the 3DS after playing the eShop demo. Great use of 3D, and it uses the RE5 engine.

I have reassessed my criticisms of 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors.

Yes, the novel business is still somewhat annoying, but by actually reading the manual they give you in the beginning of the game, I've discovered how to make it go by faster. Enjoyment factor + 1.

Then there's the fact that apparently, you have t play the game multiple times in order to actually win. Like, the game is set up that way. (I discovered the concept of multiple endings when
Spoiler
.) One of the points of the game is to figure out who brought all the characters together. You can do this by learning more about the individual characters; and who you learn about depends on the choices you make. The game does not give you the ability to learn about all 9 people in one play-through.

The best part? When you play through the second time, you keep all the facts and memories you found in the first play-through and are able to fast forward through everything you've already seen. The fast forward option doesn't work if you haven't see the text before (i.e., make new choices) so you don't miss anything.

:D I like it.

Just bought Kid Icarus Uprising for the 3DS and I am liking it thus far. Simple gameplay, nice graphics, and a good difficulty level that you can increase. Fusing weapons is pretty cool. I'm currently trying to maximize my return from them.

Hopefully this doesn't cut into my Pokeman playthrough.

Great game. :) Though I can't seem to play through it anymore...Possibly because I have the storyline memorized, or something.

Still playing 999.

Been playing Infamous (the first one) since I never did do an evil playthrough.

I've been noticing a number of things about it that don't make much sense. For instance:

the reaper thing would probably make more sense if you did evil side missions before killing them off. as for the dustmen, they're attacking you too, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend. in either playthrough, the story directs you to oppose them.

Today I tried Fallout, since it was recently given away for free on GoG. I've tried it before, but Fallout: New Vegas made me much more interested in the setting than I was when I first tried the game. I figured this could qualify as one of those games that I play through on easy mode, because I don't think I'm really looking for a challenge from it (and the combat system frustrates me).

But... it's just so hard for me to play. The point and click controls just make me feel so disconnected from the game. Growing up on Nintendo games makes me want a little bit more freedom in how the character moves.

I'll keep trying, maybe. We'll see how it goes.

I think the first two fallout games just have horrible and overly complex systems that really disconnects me from the games, dispite me really wanting to get into them.

World of Tanks - I probably would not be playing this very much if it were not for the fact I joined a clan. Now I enjoy playing because I have people to play with and tanks to strive for. That and the clan has paid for two months premium for me, which is about $30, so I also feel a little obligated to play so it's not wasted.

Also playing a bit of Minecraft again some Borderlands when I am in the mood.

I could beat the game now but new game + stuff could be better if I dont~ Aside from that Ive been playing Tales of the Abyss every so often as well as League of Legends/Pokemon White and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. Oh on a side note I ended up going to PAX and they had a borderlands 2 demo~

I finally beat Infamous on Hard last night~
The final boss wasn't quite as bad as I expected. I mean, sure, he killed me twice in under a minute, but after that I started to get the hang of his attack patterns. He still killed me a few more times after that, but the fight has checkpoints. And since this was my Evil playthrough, I got to use Arc Lightning on him, which requires only minimal aiming doesn't dodge cause him to dodge all over the place.

Now to decide whether to go after those last few trophies.

I need 3 more shards, 2-3 more stunts (depending on which save file I use for this one), Casey Jones, and the rest of the Evil power upgrades.

ouch. casey jones might take a new game. i got it during the dustmen chapter. the stunts were kinda hard, and the shards took a map and photoshop so i could mark them off. the last stunt almost requires a turret truck to pull off.
