Dude, NYC doesn't ever get cold. You live on the lakes, you should know this.

You are  Bat shit crazy if you think it doesn't get cold on the lakes. You can literally die of freezing to  death in Michigan. It is a humid  cold that seeps down into your bones, It's almost unbearable to even go outside during winter, Not as bad as living directly on the water though,I'm telling you Milwaukee, I  lived right next to it and the winter was unbearable. Living on the water can be terrible, if it's true that New York doesn't get that cold I'll tell you it's because of all the electricity that passes through that city. true story.
