how do you guys deal with immature one uppers? an annoying friend of a friend is the best at everything, drinks more, smokes more dope, and has a wetter cooter than anyone else on the planet.

for the record: i barfed on her so she could have the barfiest clothes too.

For various reason, I've felt like designing a flag for my own personal use. I chose the colors and an emblem years and years ago, and I recently remembered it and decided to update it a little.

If I ever start my own country, I promise to make carambola (star fruit) my national tree, star grass my national flower, starlings my national bird, and sea stars my national fish.

I barely remember why I first came up with the idea. Something to do with becoming a self-made zillionaire, buying my own island to live on, and pretending it was my own country or something. This was about 10-15 years ago, mind. (edit: I also planned to have my own helicopter that I would use to fly to the mainland. I had just seen an Imax documentary on helicopters that had me temporarily obsessed with them.)

The colors are purely because they are my favorite combination of colors. Any meaning ascribed to them would be retroactive and silly.

The seal is mostly because Stars. It used to be a single silver star with a ring behind it, not quite out to the points. But that was back when I was just StarstormVGN, not yet the lovable Stars you all know today. I had to pluralize it.

 

Really, the main reason I thought of it again and wanted to redesign it a little was because I wanted to make something wide and flat to put on top of my dresser.

 

And, oh yeah, starfish aren't fish.

So, this is pretty crazy. A few friends took me out to a bar last night to shoot some pool. I kicked their asses. :) I came home and fell right to sleep. Then, bam bam bam "POLICE!" Two cops storm into my apartment at 4:00 AM guns drawn. Turns out, two people were assaulted on the first floor of the house/apartment building last night. Someone was stabbed and someone was beaten with a baseball bat. The police were searching the building to see if the suspect was still here. The cop said that unless I was ok with tons of blood, I shouldn't go down there. I just went back to sleep.
