i think it speaks volume to your character that you've seen the same staged play twice, and actually prefer the longer one.

did standup comedy for the first time ever in front of people at a bar. it actually went better than i expected. people actually laughed. then later some guy got up and did a bit that started with him asking the only black guy in the bar what temperature cocaine boils at. i left after that.

Did the black guy put on thick rimmed glasses, stroke his goatee and give a long scholarly explanation of the various factors that can effect the temperature at which cocaine boils and provide an equation for calculating said temperature? That would have been awesome.

I just saw a spider catch a fly without using a web. He just sat there looking at the fly and then pounced... and missed! So the fly flew off and then literally half a second later landed next to him a bit closer and just stared at him so spider pounced... and missed! So the fly flew off a tiny bit further and the spider just charged at him pounced at him and had the flies head in his mouth in like 1/10th of a second. Very impressive stuff. The spider was only about the same size as the fly and I was rooting for him all along. He moved very slowly after that and had the back bit of the fly hanging out his mouth as he awkwardly hobbled off to god knows where. Good work, old chap!

the six graves i dug for lindsay's thesis are turning out to be effort and aggravation well spent. we went back today to exhume the first pig, and instead of a rotting, bloated carcas, there was nothing left but cartilage and bones. this is after only 28 days of decomposition in the summer heat. in another 28 days, there won't be anything left of the other five pigs to measure and record.

if anyone wants to get away with killing a hooker and burying her in the woods, summer is definitely the time to do it. if anyone wants pics, i can post them, but theyre kinda gross and sad.
