Beavis And Butthead Do America

If you cross Beavis and Butthead, they willll throw down, and blow your ass away. Know what I'm sayin'?

xD

old lady on plane: you'll have to speak up, i have this ringing in my ears. Doctor says it could be related to my heart palpitations
Beavis: Really? I poop too much
old lady on plane: Maybe you're lactose intolerant
Beavis (louder): No, I poop too much. Then I get tired.

xxD

now watching Daria. i love this show.

"You can't eat the first pancake off the stove, you have to feed one to the dog."

@Stars pt. 1- how about the really obvious product placement when he and Ando find the versa

@Stars/Kam: Wait til they do the Sylar/Peter fight in season 4. yep, they take 4 seasons to build this great Goku vs Vegeta fight, and when it happens it's umm... just watch it.

So I went to the movie theater for the first time in the last like, 10 years, and saw Super 8 with Dr. Lazlo. It was pretty funny. Also seen recently: Suckerpunch. I've heard a lot of people dislike it, but that's stupid. It's fun and crazy.

This is not the greatest signature in the world. No, this is just a tribute...

Couldn't remember the greatest signature in the world. Yeeaaah, NO! This is a tribuuute! Ohhhhh. To the greatest signature in the world! All right! It was the greatest signature in the world all right.

And the peculiar thing is this, my friends. The signature I made on that fateful night didn't actually look anything like this signature! This is just a tribute. You've gotta believe me, and I wish you were there. Just a matter of opinion. Ah, fuck! Good God, God lovin'. So surprised to find you can't stop it. All right! All right.

In no specific order, I'm working through IMDB's top 250 and from a list of movies recommended to me, staying mostly with the classics. This week, from what I can recall, Casablanca, Heat, Chinatown, Carlito's Way, Sullivan's Travels, Steel Magnolias.

If anyone has any recommendations, shoot them at me. I lived a pretty sheltered existence when it came to seeing movies, so I'm trying to watch a lot this summer.

Off the top of my head:
Dr. Strangelove, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut, Lolita (since I love Kubrick and I'm sure most of them are there...and if they aren't, watch them anywhays.), Pulp Fiction, Children of Men, Ed Wood, Kill Bill, The Princess Bride, Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Memento....and that's all I can think of at the moment.

Holy shit lol. That's hella movies.

I just saw Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows Part 2 yesterday. It was alright. Not as cool as I was expecting. I felt the end of the voldermort battle to be not epic enough. He kinda just dissolved or whatever.

Ranma 1/2 is alright. It's just that with a lot of long running anime series, it tends to get a bit stale after a while.

I finished up the second Rebuild of Evangelion movie, 2.22. It was kind of okay I guess. I was entertained but I felt it could've been way better. One problem I had was primarily in the dialogue. Most of the time it was alright but sometimes the characters would explain too much, especially when it came to metaphors. Also, the introduction of new pilots was nice but we didn't learn anything about these new characters. Kinda disappointing. On a more positive note, the movie didn't feel 112 minutes. It flowed pretty well. Overall, I'd give it somewhere around a C+/B-

Seriously, that post is more or less exactly how I felt...

EDIT: Oh wait, I found that using the same actors for the ending sequence was awful... their make-up was... terrible.

I never really cared one way or another about him before seeing this movie, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Much more than Iron Man 2, for sure. There were parts that got the whole theater to laugh, and the characters didn't even have to pause and stare at the audience like in Deathly Hallows part 2. <_<
Plus Tommy Lee Jones being Tommy Lee Jones is always fun.

EDIT: And I keep forgetting that the guy who portrays Capt America was also the second ex in Scott Pilgrim~

neat!

Watching the first two episodes of the Drunk And On Drugs Happy Funtime Hour. It's this funny canadian show about these guys who have to round up all the drug crazed characters of a children's variety show after they go crazy and believe that they're the real life characters they play. the same three actors play most of the characters with different make up and prosthetics.

now watching: this conspiracy thing about aliens

seven hour later update: watching Halloween 2. def. prefer Rob Zombie's version of both films. theyre a lot more realistic than John Carpenter's. The old H2 was boring.

I've been watching a romance-drama "We Were There". Seeing the characters make the same mistakes I have made in the past makes me cringe hard. It really brings me back to the past and it makes this hard to watch.

Rewatched some random episodes of Haruhi Suzumiya, not in any particular order. Watching the movie earlier this evening, in about 3 parts due to time limits on some of the streams. <_<

I don't watch anything. I star in things. And when I don't, I just read scripts. It's a lot cheaper than going to the movies.
