Hello people, I added another sheet to the thread. If you could just fill it out that would be awesome. Since like I said previously, I'm trying to budget how much money I need for when we go there. I'm assuming we'll mostly be eating at the cabin and not eating out or anything. The list is mainly stuff I can buy a lot of cheaply at Costco and should be easy to make/eat (so no one has to cook).

 

So I'm asking if you look at this sheet, just put initials on what you'd be willing to eat and what you won't eat, and add on to the list if you want something specific, but if you're one of the only ones who want it or it's expensive I might ask you to pay for most of it. Feel free to add things to the comments.

I can pretty safely say $20 if nothing else. I just looked at what I was down for and that all looks good, especially since there are no seafoods which are pretty much my only bugaboo. On the cooking oil line, I suggested that olive oil was probably best in case some wise guy thought it was okay to cook with that grody potato or vegetable oil.

I put P next to things I like. I'll bring my 3DS, but I'm rather limited on games, sadly. I put a P next to the games I do own on that list. I have a card game called Story Wars I can bring. I've added it under board games. :>

I'm on mobile and don't have enough free space to install the sheets app, so I can't edit, but here are some things I can bring off the top of my head:

Civilization (4 or 6, I don't remember)
Formula D (something like 30)
D&D 5 (many)
Fluxx zombies (?)

I may add to this list later, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head. I'll probably bring a laptop or my Surface, and anyone who does similar but doesn't have Civ V might receive a steam key. ;)

And if course, Monkycon wouldn't be complete without a healthy dose of murder.

If you look on Slack in #general I pinned something for all the MP attendants, in case they care. It's just general information about the place we're staying. 

 

One thing to note is that there is limited parking, so we may have to figure out what to do about that.

I've added some games to the list. Mostly board games, some expansions I could bring for Monkey's board games, and my Wii for DDR. Haven't added movies at present since MD included the important ones I could think of off the top of my head (I'm posting from work).

I added one game! I don't know that I'll be able to fit it into my carry-on but I'll do my best (or maybe just put all the pieces in a baggie and bring that) if anyone's interested.

I somehow forgot to include Backgammon, so that's been fixed. Also I didn't bother marking all of them since I didn't feel like looking up what they all are, but I'm open to trying most board games as a general rule.

So can we get a final tally of who is going so I can start conceptualizing what is happening?

Let me know if something has changed. I haven't seen Ame or Toys in a while, so I hope they are planning on coming still? Also anyone who is on the maybe list, like Hyperlisk, Jody, Frost, Leggy, and apparently Panda maybe (looking at the old thread)? We seem capacity for more people than we currently have signed up (sleeping arrangements will just get tighter). 

 

Also pretty please update the sheet. Schedule being a big one. If you don't put food then I obviously I probably won't buy that food, and if you don't vote for things in the stuff category I probably won't bring that stuff (especially stuff like consoles or Rock Band which I'd enjoy bringing, but only if people will use them). 

 

As I said elsewhere in the thread, I'll be there at some point on the 19th. I can't guarantee as to when. If you show up super late on the 19th I'll probably be there. Or if you want to coordinate with me, give me your number and I'll share with you my number.

 

Also also! We need to be out by 10am on the 24th. But as we discussed elsewhere, Puffin has a late flight so some of us might hang around Denver for a couple extra hours.

Hello! I am still very in, and very excited for it! I've been quiet, but here. Even when I've poked into slack I don't always have anything to say at the time >~<

 

I did poke around the thingymajigger somewhat recently but I'll take another look. As for the schedule, of course the train is a back-up option for me, but I haven't laid out any specific plans are far as rides are concerned... I see that Monkey and Stars have availability for rides mentioned on the sheet so would one of you be willing to nail down plans to grab me?

 

And I'm totally down to hang out in Denver for a bit! I'm sure we could find somewhere interesting to chill since I've uh.. I've been to Denver once or twice.

I feel like Monkey and I have discussed rides for people, and I can't remember if and what got nailed down, but I'm sure you can hitch a ride with one of us.
