Yeah, that whole manga idea sounds so terrible and is every reason why I hate anime/manga.

 

On the other hand there are two spinoffs that do sound interesting, a prequel series and a series on the rise of Levi.

I'm watching Sword Art Online. It kinda reminds me of .hack except more "real". It's pretty alright so far. I feel like I'll end up pretty disappointed though. I miss Monster.

Sword Art Online is good for the first arc, and very mediocre for the second arc.

Yeah...I feel like this show could have been better. It's not bad but eh. Also I'm not looking forward to the show after the first arc, it kind of upsets me that SAO, the actual game, is so short. It's disappointing.

Speaking of creepy things in SAO:

This show is bleh. It had so much potential, I think. But it's just ehhhhh. It has it's moments, but there never really feels like there's much at stake or that the show even cares about its setting or characters (especially the auxiliary ones). It also feels so rushed and it's written so badly at times and ugh.

 

I was going to write up a more coherent post about my dislike for this show, but thinking about it just makes me apathetic and mad. So clearly nothing coherent is going to come out of me right now. Maybe I'll write more when I'm finished with the season (if I ever get to that point).

You think that's creepy, you should see some of the fanfiction... I know that fanfiction is always creepier than the actual thing, but like, this takes it up to 11.

 

Instead of just smelling her hair, let's just say he does many more things that you wouldn't want to watch. And it's not just him, it's everyone else too.

I finished SAO.

Like, how do they screw up this show so bad? The games are interesting and the characters could have been interesting...but they just aren't Kazuto is just too god damn perfect and him having a harem of girls around him just makes his character worse. 

 

I really wanted to like the show, and I kinda do, because I find it interesting...just the story and characters are bad bad bad. Sword Art Online Progressive kind of sounds interesting, but I'm not going to read it.

I think I've mentioned it somewhere on this forum a few times that Eren is the least interesting part of AOT and it would have been better had he stayed dead.
