It was on Netflix and I was bored one day. I enjoyed it well enough to power through the episodes. I should re-visit it.

Monster still. It's sooooooo sooo good. Someone else should watch it.

I think what it does best (besides the fact that it's an anime that doesn't act like it's one, which I love) is the characterizations. There is almost a Game of Thrones level of characters being added on/introduced (okay maybe not that many, but still a lot) all with enough character to them that they don't seem to be an after thought. It's hard to explain, but it's good. Even if someone is only in one episode, they're given enough back story and character that you can feel for them and that is what really drives the enjoyment for this show for me. Plus there's some pretty good action/tense moments that really get me going.

I really hope Del Toro's version gets picked up by HBO and is this good. It's worth spreading to a wider audience that really wouldn't give it much of a look just because it's "anime".

Also watching Malcolm in the Middle and How I Met Your Mother once in a while. Malcolm mainly because I watched an episode with Bryan Cranston as Ted's boss in HIMYM.

I'm a huge TV & movie buff so intend to watch a variety of things. Lately though I would say...

The latest Top Gear, my favorite show. The Words, which was a surprisingly beautiful story with some decent acting and a nice message behind it. Watched Rush as well, great movie. Chris Hemsworth first legitimate chance to show he's not just a pretty, muscular face and he definitely delivers. Also how Ron Howard directed those wet driving scenes is beyond me.

Season 2 of House of Cards, on Netflix. I feel this season is darker than the first.

That's likely because I turned down the brightness on our TV.

My girlfriend watches that all the time.

I'm not sure why. She just finished watching it for like the fourth time and is watching it again already.

Not that it's a bad thing, Freaks and Geeks is really great.

Monster is getting really hard to watch. It's not bad though, it's really really good, and at about any moment anything can happen and it'll either shock or scare me. Or make me cry. I still have 24 episodes left (starting 50 soonish). blah. I don't know if I can handle emotions for much longer.

I've never watched NCIS before, but I caught about 15 minutes of it on my break today. It seems like it could be interesting, but the acting was kind of dry.

NCIS was a spinoff of JAG, a show for old people who liked a fighter jet pilot who could also lawyer. All of the characters were really thin without much of any development in 10 years. NCIS is a bit better as far as development goes, but the plot lines got pretty stretched over the years.

Needless to say, I like it enough to watch it without thinking about it any.

It's still a million times better than Star Trek: Enterprise.

I like NCIS... (Are you watching NCIS or NCIS:LA?) But I'll admit I'm not addicted like some shows.

A lot of my tv shows are starting back up so I just finished watching yesterday's premiere of The Voice, and yesterday mom and I watched the premiere of The Amazing Race. And Survivor starts tomorrow! :D
