Firefly. It's truly spectacular.

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

Old flash signature has been revived for nostalgic purposes. Too bad RpgWizard hasn't been revived. :\

I don't know if any of you are fans but last night How I Met Your Mother had an episode following the Mother's journey. Starting from the very first "Have you met Ted?" to where the show is now.

It was kind of interesting, as a long time fan of the show. It wasn't particularly all that funny, but it showed off a lot of what I appreciate/like the show for.

I only watched a few episodes of How I Met Your Mother. I didn't dislike it, but I also didn't pay enough attention to keep watching.

VP and I just finished re-watching Sherlock. From the 1st episode to the most recent it was nice. I like how the episodes are longer, but there are only 3 to a season! Not enough!!

Is the third season of Sherlock anywhere for viewing, Spaz? That's one o my fave shows too.

And so is HIMYM. I am a few seasons behind though. I need to catch up.

The past few seasons of HIMYM has had its high points, but so not as good as it started off as. It felt like it was just dragging on and on. Same with this season, but you can feel the end game and arc conclusions so it's pretty enjoyable.

i have cable for the first time in 8 years and i don't miss tv at all. commercials are worse, and somehow it seems like tv is dumber now than when Heroes was on.

Oh god yes!

I've even found the little 30 second or 1 minute long ads on Hulu to be terrible. I could never watch anything on regular TV again. Normally it's fixed by simply muting and playing on my phone until the show returns, but man is it ever annoying.

Yeah DVR is a lifesaver. I'll be watching Parks and Rec and King of the Nerds later, when I won't have to watch the commercials.

WataMote

Them feels.

It makes you want to laugh and feel bad for the character at the same time almost constantly throughout the series. Love that intro though.

Anyone else notice 24 is coming back from the hints given during the Superbowl ads? Now I get to rewatch all of 24 in anticipation.

Also, Cosmos is coming back!

Spaz and I watched the Guy Ritchie version of Sherlock Holmes last night, due to our obsession with the BBC version. We've both seen it before, and I remember genuinely liking it. But man... Compared to the BBC Sherlock, it's... boring. I started to doze off near the end of the movie...
