So... For no raisin, I decided to start watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. I gotta say, this show is pretty great. The animation is some of the best I've seen in a kids show, and the storytelling is just wonderful.

I've heard nothing but good things about that Korra madness, so I'm looking forward to that, too.

Isn't it just delightful?

I finally watched Wreck-I Ralph. It was also delightful. Although I felt a little bad for my dad since I'm pretty sure he didn't understand 99% of the references.

It was a quarter to 5, but it was quarter to ass.

P.S. it was sung by Ben Folds.

trailer park boys season 8 quietly appeared on netflix :D one of the characters is buying things with his own money, Hash Coins. it's pressed hash cut with a play doh set. in another episode, two characters explain with a straight face how to make hash oil, because this was like the breaking bad of canada back when brian cranston was still hal. now it's a netflix original series, and the production values are way higher. it's really strange because im used to it being a low budget mockumentary, but now it's this pretty dramedy that just happens to take place in a trailer park.

Watched the season premier of Big Bang Theory. I still enjoy the show, but I've realized that I don't get nearly as excited for new episodes as I used to. We're now on season 8, and seasons 2 and 3 are still my favorites.

Yup. You eventually realize that things get old and stale and predictable. You think, "My god, is this show entirely sex jokes?"

Also, remember that after 7 seasons, you've gone from the middle of their key demographic to the edge.

that's an interesting point that i never thought of, shows having to grow with their demographics. the majority of what i watch is cartoons so whatever...

i watched a show called trap car. it was about police trap cars that lock and trap carjackers. it's a weird strategy that amounts to human fishing, but it's not like i'd ever think stealing a car's a good idea in the first place

Black Jesus is almost the same show as Trailer Park Boys. they're even both produced by Mike Clattenburg. that explains why Jesus and the gang steal horse poo to use as fertilizer in the community vegetable patch they're growing as a cover for the weed. same. show.

Remember when The Simpsons used to be funny?
