Alright, more then a year ago I started the idea for this comic and since than there have been 5 comics. That's not a very high number, at least not the number I wanted it to be (should've been 12 at least). I'm distracted very fast, so if anything interesting catches my eye I'm on it. It happened to me a lot when I thought to myself: "I really should work on the next comic" and right after that: "But I just need this much xp to level up in Battlefield 4, let's go for that". Not the right attitude, I know and I'm trying to change that. In the last few days I've been working on some 'scripts' for some new comics and try to keep this up every day. I must say, working out these scripts helps me visualize the actual comics but helps me even more for the actual story telling. So what I'm going to try is make 30 scripts for the comics and than the actual comics. I personally think this could help me to focus on making the comics and making them better. It's like writing a story after all, when you write your first draft and then reread it you can adjust it to make a joke work better or build up a better cliffhanger.

 

So to anyone who thought: "This is the end of the comic!", it's not. Just to make that clear. I'm still working on this but don't expect the new comic to appear very soon. I know it's been almost 3 months that the last comic appeared and I'm asking a little more of your patience for that to happen. I also want to thank all of you for supporting me on this, I loved all the comments when I posted a new comic. Thank you guys for that!

 

I asked Spaz if she could check the spelling, grammar and such of the scripts for the comics. This will mean she has all the spoilers at some point but hopefully she won't be spreading these around (seriously Spaz, don't!). What I'm trying to say with this is: Don't ask for them. I'm giving her a big amount of trust in this and I would hate to cut off the comic if anyone, besides her, would find out what happens in one of the last comics. Spaz helped me in the past with the spelling etc so I hope you respect my decision for choosing her.

 

That was all I wanted to say for now. I'll keep you updated on how far I am on writing the scripts, once in a while.

I will be looking forward to the return of the comic. And I have similar trouble with starting long projects and then getting distracted, so I understand. xp

Scripts are waaay helpful. In the past when I made comics I usually used scripts, even if they bordered on loose outlines. It's good to know you're still working on it. :D

Little update.

 

It took me a while to write some new comics (also Spaz didn't see I send her a batch of scripts in the beginning of januari). I wrote 5 scripts today and probably going to write some more later when I get back from work. To give you an idea on how far I am with the scripts and making the actual comics (will be starting making them when I reach 30 scripts), I'm about to send scripts 16 till 20 to Spaz. So a few more and I'll be working on the actual comics =)

Let me clarify: I'm done writing 30 scripts. You know what that means right? That's right, I'll be working on the actual comics from now on. I can't tell how fast this will be going but I'll be trying my best to get them done as fast as possible. I hope you will enjoy them as much as me.

 

I won't be posting them until I get 10 done though, so a little more patience please ;)
