[Xteven Xavier]

As instructed Xteven had began making food for the group, He came out with a big platter of meatloaf in time to hear the accusations going down. "Whoa whoa whoa, we can't surely just up and lynch someone can we?" Xteven said with tears in his eyes, " I mean I don't really know you guys personally but you are my friends, I thought Friendship was supposed to be magic," He sat the food on the conjoining dining rooms table and cut himself a peice and said, "You guys really should eat something, How can we make decisions like this on an empty stomach." He then began to cut himself off a piece of his meatloaf and began to chew it. "Needs more ketchup he said with a full mouth," and proceeded to come back into the Dining room and poor way too much ketchup on his food, having loved ketchup from childhood he saw nothing wrong with it.


"I suppose Since I really don't know what could have possibly happened I will go with whoever states the best case logically," he said in between gulping down his food and then said "What do I have something on my face," as the others stared at him in disgust.

[Stars]

Distracted by Xteven's reappearance, Stars stares at the platter of meatloaf. "Xteven...that's not...I mean to say...well........that isn't werewolf meatloaf, is it?"

[Puffin]

Puffin was revolted at Stars' question. "Eugh, what? Who in their right minds would make werewolf meatloaf? Why would you even ask that?" She then looked at Xavier and grimaced. "...That isn't, right?"

Being handed the knife, she sighed and rest the flat of the blade against her left hand. "There, see?" she said, "Now we know this does nothing. Likely the only thing it's good for is stabbing werewolves. For all we know the whole 'can only be killed by silver' thing is a sham... Which I guess is good for us if we plan on lynching someone." She couldn't help but sound a bit bitter there, a part of her insulted that anyone would suggest that she'd be a werewolf. Not that she could argue with the idea. Someone had to be held responsible.

"Glacie's right, though. If any of us were werewolves, it would have to be one of the three alone people. But who should we choose? We've already wasted half the day arguing about this... This is too much man."

[Amethyst]

Amethyst responded flatly, "It's exactly because I have nothing to hide that I can be so bold. I'm going to die if I do nothing, so I may as well take an active role and try to steer myself to safety.

I'm not a killer. I would gladly hand you this knife if it would assuage you, but I'd rather see it put through the heart of the guilty.
So you touched the knife. We don't know what manner of invisible protection you've spread on your hands in the night, and as Puffin said, if it even actually makes a difference."
She paused coughed slightly, regaining herself.
"Discounting that, you still have the greater motive. I think the suspicion you would arouse in your own roommate if they were left alive outweighs that which you would accrue with such a defense as you've used.

In other words, that's a cheap cover-up."

She sighed and looked back to the neutral parties.
"The day's almost over. Seriously, let's get some hands. Who, is with me?"

[Puffin]

"Glace?" Puffin said after Amethyst's accusations, looking between the two and weighing her options. "I suppose... If it's the three of us that are being accused, then I'd have to side with one of you... And of the two of you, Amethyst is sounding a lot more sensible. I side with her."

[Xteven Xavier]

Wiping the food from his mouth Xteven sais, "Of coarse it's werewolf meat, I wasn't about to miss out on my only opportunity I'll ever get to eat it, it's actually really good too, you guys are missing out if you don't want any, and I have a feeling you just may regret it for the rest of your lives. Seriously, are you guys telling me I was the only one who wondered how it tasted? seriously are you saying if you just so happened to come across a freshly killed unicorn you wouldn't fry that baby up just to see what unicorn tastes like. Either way There is a pot of macaroni in there if you don't want it. But know I will take it as an insult on me if you don't eat some of this delicious meat that I slaved over all day.

Oh also, the fact that I'm pretty sure two of you are werewolves and two of you are teaming up against one of the others that means I have to pick one of you, yeah? Alright so I suppose I have to vote for you Puffin. sorry, it's just...

It's just that you looked so at home in that puddle of your best friends blood earlier, I don't mean to imply that s/he wasn't, I just think it's hard for you to control your werewolfy urges." He said calmly as can be in the situation.

Glace thought over what Xteven said about the werewolf meat, and agreed. He was curious what it tasted like. He thought over what Xteven said about Puffin, and agreed with that too. "You make an excellent point, Xteven. One that I had overlooked."

Glace paced back and forth. "This is so difficult! We don't have a lot to go on. I was leaning more toward Amethyst than Puffin, but that was just a hunch. For all I know, it could be both of you. But, I guess because of Xteven's line of reasoning, I have to vote for you too, Puffin. Sorry."

Glace addressed the group. "In my defense, I'll just say that Hyperlisk (may he rest in peace) told everyone we'd be drinking last night. I didn't just make that up this morning. I feel that is as good an alibi as you could have in this situation. Also, while everyone else has been tentative to mention names, I stuck my neck out and mentioned people, knowing I'd catch some heat for it. I even mentioned my own name in order to honestly mention all current suspects. I put myself at risk today because we have to do something, and act now before we lose the power to act at all. In spite of this, if you should still decide to vote for me, then so be it. But please vote for someone! There is no real concrete evidence against anyone, but time is running out, and if we don't do something, then we lose all control of the situation when night approaches."

Glace sits down and waits to hear what the rest of the group has to say.

((OOC: Is there any way we can extend the deadline a bit? Even if it's just until the end of Wednesday? I'll bet Stars isn't the only one that is busy. We get very few posts here before noon.))

((Well, we had about 48 hours... but I guess we can wait until evening. But my goal is to keep this one moving.))

Stars feels obliged to name someone, but he can't make up his mind. Amethyst and Xteven both make good points, and he knows that he'll feel terrible regardless of who is lynched. Panicking slightly, he blurts out the first suspect that comes to mind...

Stars averts his eyes from the friend he just accused, feeling ashamed.

[Jody]

"Whoa whoa whoa, Puffin? Really?!" Jody looks at Stars and Xteven like they just turned into werewolves on the spot. "I think the real issue is Glace. Who finds out they're in a waking nightmare and gets shitfaced?!"

Jody looks down, fists trembling in rage. "We're in a real predicament here, and we need to take care of each other! You should never have locked yourself away with your roommate to drink! You had no idea at the time HE wasn't the werewolf! And if you're both drunk and one of you is attacked, how the hell did you plan on helping each other? Even running for help?! In regards to having a victim as a roommate, you and Puffin are on the same pedestal of suspicion. But using booze as an alibi is just ridiculous!!"

Pacing a bit and trying desperately not to pull her hair out, Jody turns slightly and points at Glace from across the room.

"Drinking yourself into a mini-coma is a perfect excuse to not have known what happened last night! Even if you aren't the werewolf, you could have opened the damn door for it thinking it was a pizza delivery man!!"

Closing the distance between them, Jody continues. "If it's between Puffin, who has acted responsibly and cares about us, and you, who drank and mentally abandoned us all when we needed you..." Coming up in front of Glace, she pokes him in the chest hard. "I don't know if you're a werewolf, but I don't trust you, and I'd rather risk losing you than someone who's going to try to keep the group safe and alive."

[Monkeydog]

((OOC: I won't really be able to post until 10pm my time. If that's too late I can make an extremely abbreviated post from my phone later.))

[BottomGuy]

BottomGuy stood in the back listening to everyone else put forth their reasons about who the werewolf might be. He wasn't quite ready to join in as he was still feeling a bit feint from the gruesome sight. The werewolf meatloaf that had been prepared was not helping either. As the debate went on BottomGuy found himself more and more angry toward one of the two prime suspects. His mind just kept going back over the evidence and how they had behaved. He did not barge into the conversation though but oh did he want to. When Jody spoke he felt it gave him a good opening.


"I fully agree with what Jody has said. You have been acting out in the most unusual ways since this whole affair started. I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt not touching the silver yesterday since you proposed it. I really did not want to think you were hiding anything. But then...but then..." BottomGuy closed his eyes and took in a deep breath trying to control himself. "Then you get drunk off your ass! What the bloody hell were you thinking!"

BottomGuy clench his fist but he just could not keep his thoughts straights. "If someone has to be blamed I'm sorry, Glace, it has to be you. I just never thought you'd act this dumb, off all people."

[Monkeydog]

"Well..." said Monkeydog quietly.

"I guess it's settled then. I'm sorry..." Monkeydog grabbed a bottle of wine and started pouring it into a glass.
"Let's all raise one for Glace, you enjoy drinking, correct? Because this will be your last drink you Werewolf scum. I'm sorry. I know you probably can't control it, but it sickens me what you've done to two of my best friends."

"Let the festivities begin!"
And with that Monkeydog rose his glass in Glace's direction.

[Glaciermage]

Glace smiled.

"No wine for me tonight, Monkeydog. I think I've learned my lesson. Let's get this over with, eh? I must say it was a pleasure knowing each and every one of you."

Lazlo looked on quietly, watching Glace take this beating. He couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt as he nodded, saying, "Yeah... I think we have to do it... I agree with the majority. Glace needs to be..." Lazlo's eyes began to tear up. He couldn't finish the thought.

Everyone raised a wineglass, and somberly drank. There was a long silence, nobody move, nobody said a word. Awkward glances, silently asking who would do it. Glace sat down, breathing heavily. "It's kind of a relief, you know? Now I can stop worrying."

Amethyst unwrapped the knife, and cooly walked over to Glace. She stood before him for a moment that stretched into eternity. This was really happening. There was nothing that could be done about it. She simply whispered, "I'm sorry," before pointing the knife at his chest, and thrust it between his ribs. He convulsed in pain for only a second, then collapsed on the floor. When Amethyst pulled the knife out, the blood was sizzling, confirming their suspicions.

Gasping, Lazlo said, "I guess he was a werewolf..."

The deed was done. This small group, who had been friends for so many years, had lost three close friends that night. Nearly everyone had tears in their eyes. Despite what he had done, he was still their friend. He had revitalized this community of drifting friends, brought them back together. It was all they could do to hold back from openly sobbing.

There would be no merry making that night, no gossip, nor much discussion of any kind. It was the sort of day one wished to have never been born. As night descended, everyone returned to their rooms. Puffin, unable to sleep in the room her friend and died in, moved next door to room 104. The night seemed to last forever. Everybody had difficulty sleeping, but one by one, they all eventually succumbed.

A door slams, waking the few remaining survivors. Everybody nervously peeks out of their rooms, wondering what happened during the night. Although everyone is relieved to still be alive, there is very little talking as short glances are exchanged between each room. Before too long, everyone seems to come to the realization that Xteven Xavier and Amethyst are not standing in the corridor. Fearing the worst, the group enter's Xteven's room first to find him in his bed, passed out and sweating profusely. He seems to be having a bad reaction to the meat he ate last night, and is running a high fever. Although his situation is bad, he is still alive. With a face-full of fear, the group turns to Amethyst's room, only to find that she is dead, the silver knife still in her hand, in her last, futile attempt to save herself.

[Monkeydog]

((OOC: I'm just going to get the ball rolling here, sorry))

Monkeydog looks at BottomGuy.

"Sorry, I know these were supposed to be a secret between me and you but..."

And then is eyes turned to Stars.


"So, what were you doing in the secret passageway in the servant's quarters? Huh? Are you following me and BG or something? I take it you know about the passageway in 104 as well then, if you have been following us? Did you go check that one as well?! Since the only people outside of me and BottomGuy who should know the servant passageway would be a Werewolf."
