Amethyst had leaned coolly on the wall of the corridor, remaining silent through the chaos. It was grotesque and horrid and terrifying, and as much as she wanted to go into another room and just cry, she forced herself into her quiet solitude.
...Until she was called out, anyway.
With a sigh, she twirled her hair and stared at the floor, thinking,
"Yes... It is logical to assume that the people without roommates would be better able to move so undetected..."
She paused, reasoning out the scenario in her head.
"So that's three of us, isn't it? But... Just because I prefer to stay alone, doesn't mean I'm a killer, or a demon. And further, the room assignments do not tailor themselves to the afflicted. In otherwords, we cannot assume that I'm a werewolf just because I do not have a roommate. That scenario occurred by some degree of chance. Although I do not mind it, I did not ask to be alone."
At once, she bounced off the wall and took a firm stance, pointing herself at Glace,
"On the other hand... I find that two of our three roommate-less persons became that way as a direct result of this scenario. Unlike my situation, there IS an implied causality there."
She looked around, the words hanging in her lips ready to escape.
"In otherwords, I posit that the most likely suspects are those who just lost their roommates- Puffin and, of course, yourself, Glace.
It makes sense if you think about it. If a wolf was hungry, why would he or she leave the room to get a snack when there's one right there? But more than that... It's convenient for them if they become alone. That way there's no one who could accidentally hear them as they sneak out. The move is almost necessary if they want to harvest the other rooms."
She huffed triumphantly, and advanced on Glace,
"And one further thing, your honour..." She whispered loudly as she drew near him. "You're quite clever, aren't you?" She laughed slightly, "I admit, I almost didn't notice... but it was a very nice idea you had, sir. Bringing up the suggestion for everyone to touch the knife?"
She paused and glared at him with her piercing eyes.
"...But you never actually touched it yourself."
She spun around and paced away a few steps.
"Incidentally, there was one other person who failed to touch the knife. ...Puffin. Our other roommate-less guest."
Amethyst concluded her speech, facing her audience again and donning the falsest smile of a 1950's desperate housewife.
"Now, isn't that convenient?"
The smile fell off of her face at once, her tone fell flat, and in one dramatic motion, she unsheathed the Silver Knife from her pocket and its cloth, and thrust it pointed towards Glace,
"I hereby formally accuse Glace of knowingly harboring the werewolf infection, and by association, murdering our former friends.
Who is with me?"
