Piers Morgan is a disgrace. The only reason he's on TV in America now is because we had enough of his shit in this country.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

"Malicious fecal distribution." Best line. Next to, "I'm going to go out there, with the hose, and spray her down and say, 'Bad human!'."

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

Your last paragraph doesn't make sense to me. Can you provide more details?
I believe his point was if you are so concerned about a destructive future, find a way to make the future better instead of just complaining about it. It's like making all the preparations for what you are going to have to do to make up for failing an exam before you take the exam instead studying so you pass the exam. That may have been a more confusing analogy. "Instead of complaining, do something" would be the crude and short version.
We all know what the true global threat is though: BANANAS!
I love this show. I want to do what it does with science for history.
Not "conspiracies". Conspiracy. Singular.

called it. our universe is a computer simulation, or matrix, containing all possibility within certain set of "rules" we are not real, we are only along for the ride.

I'll probably get a lot of flack for posting this on here, but I think it's a great video from an artistic perspective. I do happen to agree with the message though too. It's very much a part of my spiritual beliefs as a Christian.
