and I've heard people say it like 'tamater'...it's really weird sounding, and they usually say stuff like 'potatoe' 'patater' and so on and so forth, too... though I don't say it myself, it sounds really dumb to me :P

I'm currently reading this book called The Eight...It's sooo boring in the beginning, but I took a peek at the middle and it looks like it gets better, so I'm holding out for as long as I can.

I finished the two newest Myth books (Myth-told Tales and Class Dis-mythed) a few days ago, and I just now finished reading Ender's Game for the second time. I'll probably get my own copy of Ender's Shadow today or sometime soon and can read it again (the first time was a borrowed copy); that is, unless Negima volume 16 is out a day early like they sometimes are, then I'll read that first. :3
EDIT: No Negima yet. =(

Not sure what to read next. I've got four Brian Herbert DUNE books that I haven't read yet, but I don't feel like going through them yet; they tend not to be as good as Frank Herbert's first three DUNE books. I think I've got one of Asimov's Foundation books I haven't read yet, plus one I started long ago but never finished, too.
Blarg! I want to read something, and I've got so many books, but none of them sound appealing right now.

Probably going to go onto The Book of General Ignorance next, or maybe Conn Iggulden's The Gates of Rome.

Got my new Negima in the mail yesterday afternoon. Finished it yesterday afternoon as well, so now it's back to DUNE stuffs.
EDIT: Also forgot to mention that this volume referenced Death Note, which made me laugh.
Oooooh. What volume of Negima is this? (huge Death Note fanboy :D)
I have been rereading Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. I've been wanting to for ages, and ever since seeing The Golden Compass and being SEVERELY disappointed how much they managed to ruin one of the greater literary works of recent times, I decided to reread the trilogy to refresh my memory.

Volume 16, chapter 141. I can't get more specific than that since they don't seem to like showing page numbers. You might miss it since it's a really brief reference, and it's partially bleeped out for copyright purposes. =pAlso forgot to mention that this volume referenced Death Note, which made me laugh.

Hah, you too? Puffin and I spent the entire time while the credits were rolling criticizing the play. The trilogy is awesome, though...and I can't wait to see Inkheart.
I'm currently reading Tamora Pierce's Terrier. :3
