[Puffin]

As Stars ran to catch him off guard, Puffin had finished reloading...and when Stars tried to attack him, he fired two shots at the imposter!

"Now see?" Puffin said afterwards, "That's definatly something I wouldn't do....otherwise I woulda attacked before when you hid behind that rock!"

[Stars]

P-Stars had not put up a shield (and couldn't have anyway, since that would give away that he wasn't Puffin), and he, instead of Puffin, was caught off guard by the unexpected projectile attack. Most of the real Puffin's shots connected, aside from a few wild shots. Receiving significant damage from the barrage, P-Stars' Mirror was dispelled, reverting him to his usual form and restoring his full consciousness.

"Aaaagh!" he screamed as he suddenly began to feel the pain from his new wounds.

Stars stumbled backwards as he tried to steady himself. He slowly turned to face Puffin once more.

"You... Consider yourself lucky, for you have been *pant* spared the full wrath of my psyonic abilities."

Stars pauses a moment to catch his breath.

"Were I not forced to retreat, you would be feeling the anger of the cosmos manifested through my ultimate skill, Starstorm Omega. But alas, I cannot spare the massive amount of energy this would require."

"I will have to meditate on this defeat and figure what went wrong so that I may be better prepared when next we meet each other in battle. Until then..."

Stars uses 8 MP to cast Teleport Beta. After a he builds up enough momentum, he disappears and rematerializes outside his palace in the faraway country of Dalaam to heal his body and spirit after the fierce battle.

"They haven't seen the last of me..."

EDIT: [Actually, the only reason you didn't attack me when I hid behind my rock was because Argus was giving you a thorough beatdown. =P]

Puffin laughed as he got up and leaned against the rock, "Told him he couldn't beat me!" he said as he put his pistol back in its holster.

[Kamau]

[And Argus is forgotten. Huzzah!]

Kamau looked just a bit upset once he saw who the real Puffin was. "I'm sorry for not believing you..." he said after a moment, hoping that Puffin wouldn't be all that angry.

[Puffin]

Puffin shrugged, "No biggie," He said.

then Puffin fainted from blood loss due to the shot wound in his arm.

((now i have an excuse not to post here for a while =P))

[Kamau]

"Ah! Puffin!" Kamau rushed over to Puffin and saw that the wound was still bleeding. "What do I do, what do I do??" he repeated to himself quickly, looking around for some kind of bandage, as he didn't know any healing arts. He darted off and covered the short distance to the first thing he spotted, hoping that it would be useful, and was glad to find bandages lying around. Maybe from someone else who had gotten hurt already?

However they had gotten there, he picked them up anyway and ran back to his friend, not knowing what else to do beside stop the blood flow. He had no idea how to take out the bullet, if it was still in there.

[Stars]

Meanwhile, in Dalaam:

Stars: "Master Hoshi, you have trained me since I was a young boy, yet I could not I defeat that man. Please, tell me. What am I missing?"

Master Hoshi: "It because you never paying attention during lessons. You always playing that Earthbound game of yours."

Stars: "But that's where I get all my moves from!"

Master Hoshi: "..."

A dark figure appears in the distance on the battlefield...

Puffin and Kamau stare at it to see if it poses a threat to them. As Puffin and Kamau ready their battle stances, what looks to be a travelling merchant appears from the dark blob.

"Hello... are you... in need of supplies?"

Puffin and Kamau stare in disbelief as the wanderer trudges towards them.

"I said DO YOU NEED SUPPLIES!!!"

((uh, I'm kind of not paying attention right now, actually. all passed out and stuff so I don't have to make any real posts here for a while.(so no battle stances or anything like that for me))

[Kamau]

[That is so definitely godmoding, Hyperlisk. *huffs, then goes along with it*]

Having been wary of the figure appearing out of nowhere, Kamau stood cautiously in front of Puffin with his staff in front of him, just in case. "Supplies...?" he repeated after the confusion had passed, then looked back down at Puffin. "Ah...Well...He's hurt...I don't suppose you have something that can get rid of a bullet...?" he asked, not having a clue as to how to get a bullet out of a body.

((to make things easier, why not assume that the bullet passed through...?))

[But it's more fun watching Kamau be confused. :3]

[Yeah, and Kamau doesn't actually know that the bullet (I just typed 'button'...) is out. Someone could easily be like "You know, the bullet's out. You can see straight through." and stuff. ]

[How is that godmoding... What did I say that was godmoding? Even though now I have no idea how to start a fight... Someone attack me.. or maybe my guy should just magically die...]

[Don't fight yet, then. Tell us that Puffin doesn't actually have a bullet in him. We'll figure out a fight eventually.

And, half of what you said was godmoding, really. I can count you saying that I did three things that I didn't say that I did.]

[So... Oh well then...]

"Hmmmm..." *sigh* "This boy/girl (I think it's girl, because in one of the posts back he/she kept saying she for him/herself...) doesn't even have a bullet in him/her. Were you trying to trick me?!?!"

[Kamau]

"No bullet...?" he repeated, confused for a moment, then took a look for himself. "You're right, there's no bullet! That's good!" He then thought for a moment. "Then...Do you have bandages, maybe? I can use those..."

[Hyperlisk]

Hyperlisk turns to his pack and pulls out some bandages.

"3000 gold."

[Kamau]

"3,000?" Kamau said, surprised by the expensive price that was being asked, but he rummaged through his pockets and produced a little less than what the man wanted. "...Will this do...?" he asked, holding out the amount.
