[Hyperlisk]

Hyperlisk's eyes glow bright red as he finishes muttering the incantation.

"Hehehe..."

Raising his hand, Hyperlisk fires two balls of energy at the bullets.

[Puffin]

Puffin watched as the energy stopped/destroyed/whatever the bullets, "well...that was...Interesting." He said in a confused manner.

He looked over the other two, "If you have any info on how to get rid of this guy, now would be useful to tell me..." (or what not to do, at least o.O)

[Stars]

Stars' expression changes, as though he is remembering something unpleasant from long ago.

"Most projectiles are useless against him, especially physical ones such as bullets. Most projected magic is also ineffective."

He turns to Puffin and Kamau.

"Our best tactic would be to attack him all at once with melee weaponry. It won't exactly be easy, but it will at least give us a small chance. We may even live."

Once again, Stars draws the Sword of Kings.

"Are you both with me?"

[Puffin]

Puffin shrugged as he put his pistol in his holster, then takes out his cutlass, "Why not?" he said in a laidback way, "Might as well team up if that's what it takes. Just give the signal."

[Kamau]

"Yeah!" Kamau agreed, shifting his staff to a better position once more, eager to help get rid of someone who was apparently very dangerous.

[Stars]

"I'll shield all of us first. It won't stop any of his magic attacks, but it will help a lot if he goes melee too."

Stars uses 30 MP to cast Shield Beta on himself, Puffin, and Kamau.

"That doesn't leave me much energy for healing, so do try to avoid any taking any fatal injuries, m'kay?"

After a brief hesitation: "Let's go!"

[Kamau]

"Right!" Kamau said brightly in agreement, then started forward in order to get at Hyperlisk from the side with an attack from his staff.

[Puffin]

At Stars' signal Puffin shot forward and moved to attack hyperlisk from the opposite side Kamau was.

[Stars]

After seeing that his impromtu team was indeed doing what he suggested, Stars charged in as well. He started running toward Hyperlisk's front. He feinted with his sword, then leaped over his foe, landing behind him.

As he turned around, he said, "You have slain far too many, 'Shadow Merchant.'"

Stars makes a vertical slash from the ground up, attempting to cut the target in half.

"This is for my brother!"

[Puffin]

((oh noes! Hyperlisk injured/killed one of your brothers?! D: ... ... ... ... ... ... *snickers*))

[Stars]

[Hey, less joking, more poking (with your sword, I mean).]

[Hyperlisk]

['Kay, back! ]

Hyperlisk turns towards Starstorm...

"I don't remember your brother... Oh well... It must not have been a very good fight..."

Hyperlisk casts Spell Mirror to copy Starstorm's Shield Beta.

[Stars]

Stars' sword is deflected by the copied spell, and he is thrown backwards. His own shield blocks half of the deflected damage, dealing him about a quarter the damage he would have dealt to Hyperlisk, which is still considerable. ...He begins to regret what he said about 'not getting any fatal injuries.'

"Blast, I should have seen that coming. It's just been so long since I last saw him fight, I forgot about that ability."

Desparate not to be out the picture so soon, Stars uses 13 MP to cast Lifeup Gamma on himself, draining most of his remaining psyonic energy.

To the others: "You two, keep attacking, but don't hit too hard. The shield will disappear after 3-5 hits regardless of how hard it's hit. I may not remember all of his moves, but I still know how my own work."

[Puffin]

"And what are you gonna do while we hit?!" Puffin complained, though he still did as ordered and attacked the shield with a minimal ammount of effort.

[Stars]

"What, you want me to yell out my plan for him to hear?"

...

"Besides, I need to catch me breath first. Have you ever been nearly cut in half by your own sword? It's not fun."

[Puffin]

"Well, I've been struck by lightning, shot by my own pistol, hit with the flat edge of a sword...." Puffin started listning off all the things Stars and his allies had done to him as he continued attacking the shield, "Oh, and lets not forget how you tried to turn one of my best friends against me with a silly spell!"

[Stars]

Stars ignores Puffin and quickely eats one of his magic truffles to restore some of his energy.

"Well if you don't want to get struck by lightning again, I suggest getting as far away from Hyperlisk as possible. Besides, having fewer targets will make it more likely that my next spell will hit him."

"My shields can only block physical attacks, so lightning won't get reflected, plus lightning will destroy a shield in one hit, which is one more reason you should get away from Hyperlisk."

Stars uses 16 MP to cast Thunder Gamma, hoping to hit Hyperlisk.

[Puffin]

Puffin gave Stars an annoyed glare, but moved away from Hyperlisk as directed, "This better work," Puffin muttered as he stepped back to about where Stars was standing, preparing for whatever attack Hyperlisk may throw at them if in case Stars' spell didn't work.

[Hyperlisk]

[Awww... you all waited for me! (Or so it seems... -_-')]

StarStorm's lightning connects with Hyperlisk and dissipates the shield.

"Hmmm... I guess you, at least, should know your own spells weakness..."

[Trying to think of something that doesn't sound godmode-ish... Since now I'm the "Shadow Merchant"]

Hyperlisk returns fire at StarStorm (And ignores Puffin BTW) with his own lightning spell Thunder Clap!

[Stars]

[Like I said earlier, the shields can't block magic damage, so unless you're made of rubber or something, that should have damaged you. ...But oh well.]

"Yes, it is very fortunate that I understand the nature of all my attacks..."

Stars dashes to the nearest tall tree, which gets hit by Hyperlisk's Thunder Clap.

"...as well as the natures of similar attcks."

To the others: "Got any ideas on how we might beat this guy? Magic seems to be a bad ideas since he can copy spells..."
