The New one just looks like 5th gens Lucario >_>
Did not like Lucario, and I am very skeptical about this one

More ghosts! And more places to catch the ghost. I want to see a cemetery that gets spookey at night and wild ghost just keep attacking you. Doubt they'll do that though it might scare the youngins. More mixed types as well. Like can you imagine an ElectricXGround pokemon or a Fire/Water ? Dude that would be intense... That's my opinion.

Fire/Water

Steam pokemon~ That would be great for both rain teams and sun teams.
I'd also like to see a fire/ghost or a fire/psychic. And a fire/grass.
Ooh, a steel/ghost haunted suit of armor! =D
So many fun possibilities they haven't used yet.

I doubt there will be any more Eeveelutions. They only evolve into the old Special Attacking types, and the only one they haven't done yet is Dragon. And a Dragon Eevee would just be weird. Plus going from mammal to reptile? Mr.
Ghost was a physical type though, so I really don't think it'll happen.

Edit- Okay, I just had an idea in regards to what the battle alteration might be- Field effects. Weather was introduced in the third generation, and at the same time, we also began to see the areas we were fighting in despite the fact that they didn't do anything. So make them do stuff.
It's always been very common in the anime for certain areas to give pokemon an advantage- even in the Indigo League, trainers fought in different stages depending on the environment. Why hasn't this been included yet?

Here are some ideas for environmental effects:

Underwater:
-All water pokemon's speed doubles.
-All other pokemon's speed is halved.
-All weather effects except for Rain are nulled.
-When raining, accuracy decreases.
-Electric moves are 100% accurate and hit all pokemon except the user.
-Water and fire attacks have a 0% chance of hitting.
-Aqua Ring's effect doubles.
-Physical move's strength is decreased.
-Fly, Bounce, Jump kick and Hi Jump Kick are ineffective.
-Whirlpool's strength is dramatically increased.
-Spikes and Toxic Spikes affect non-grounded pokemon. Toxic Spikes can be absorbed by non-grounded poison Pokemon.

Sky:
-No grounded pokemon may battle
-Thunder is 100% accurate
-The quantifiable effects of Bright Sun, Rain and Hail and Fog are doubled.
-Seismic Toss's damage doubles.
-Gravity attack reverts field condition
-The attacks Dig, Dive, Ingrain, Roost, Spikes and Toxic Spikes are nulled.
-Ground attacks are 0% accruate
-Flying types' evasion is increased

Grass Field-
-Fire attacks are 100% accurate and gain boosted strength
-The effects of Ingrain, Leech Seed and Sweet Scent are doubled.
-Bug types' evasion is increased
-Successive Fire, Ice, Cut attacks or extended Hail may revert the field condition
-Shorter pokemon recieve increased evasion
-Gust, Defog, Tailwind, Whirlwind or Razor Wind attacks remove the height-based evasion increase
-Grass pokemon gain increased defenses.

Rocky Field-
-Electric attacks decrease in power and accuracy
-Ground and Rock attacks increase in power and accuracy
-Stealth Rock always damages at least 12.5% on entry
-Sandstorm's damage is doubled
-In Sandstorm, Ground pokemon gain special defense
-Earthquake and Magnitude increase in power and accuracy
-Successive Earthquakes or Magnitudes may revert the field condition
-Succesive Water attacks null the electricity modifier

Dark Cave-
-Weather effects except for Sandstorm and Fog are nulled
-Accuracy is decreased
-The effect of Flash is reversed, and affects all pokemon.
-Fire attacks increase the accuracy of all pokemon.
-Foresight functions as Mind Reader.
-Lock On is ineffective
-Ground attacks can hit non-grounded Pokemon
-Never-missing moves such as Swift and Aerial Ace lose their effect
-Electric moves decrease in power
-Dark types' attacking stats are boosted

Thoughts/other ideas on these?

Heh, underwater? I think physical water moves should be doubled, or have priority. I don't know about water attacks not hitting... thought whirlpool should get a huge atk boost... hah, you have that down already. Whirlpool should also clear out spikes, etc.

Dark cave, Earthquake and magnitude may be treated as rock type move effectiveness against flying, since an earhtquake in a cave is basically rockslide/cave in.

Rocky field- sounds like stealth rock is in effect. oops, you already had that too.

Marsh? electric attacks are nullified, but water moves get rain dance boost, fire moves at .25 power. 5 turns of sunny reverts field to normal or grass field. Speed reduced for non-water/ground/flying/grass types.

Graveyard/Cemetary- Howl, moonlight, nasty plot, spite effects are doubled, and ghost and dark type attacks x 1.5, x2 at night. double team's effect is doubled. No hp loss for ghosts using curse. Pokemon using dig may pick up bone clubs after battle. =P Sunny day/ enough Flashes reverses most effects and nullifies foe evasiveness.

Active Volcano- embers rain down each turn and damage non-fire/ground/rock/steel types, hp recovery for fire types each turn. Eruption and Lava plume x2 power. Earthquake/magnitude may deal super effective fire type damage. Non-fire/rock/ground/steel pokemon using dig lose 1/4 hp. Fissure's accuracy is doubled.

hmm, that's all I can think of atm.

Hm. You're right about the physical water moves. Only special attacking Water moves (except whirl pool if that is one?) should be nulled.

I was considering something for a marsh, but couldn't think of anything for it. I like the idea.
Cemetary sounds intense.

As for locations changing the types of moves, that's rather interesting. In Grassy Fields wind attacks could also have a chance of getting a poison/sleep/paralysis effect...

Gah, there's so much they could do with this. They had better.

Lol, there needs to be a move named Fog for Defog to become feasible. It would work on a steam pokemon (Torkoal Evo!!!!) to create fog conditions the way rainy day and those work.

As for the locations changing the types of moves... well, it sort of makes sense. An earthquake around a volcano is sure to set the volcano off, just at it's sure to cause a cave in. Or it could be that earthquake may cause burns at the volcano?

As for field effects... there's a lot you can do with 'em, but if they do do something like that, the effects are probably gonna be small to keep them from being too advantageous.

Psh. They should go all out. Hell, there's a whole episode in the anime about how different underwater battling is (which... incidentally, is what gave me the idea...)

Personally, I don't see them doing what you guys are talking about. Every other change they have made has been used while you play the in-game story as well as working outside in personal battles. You expect them to have these battle fields in wireless and wifi battles? If you have to choose them, that makes it impossible to have a good team and everyone would design teams around a specific field and then only battle people who made teams for the same field. It would be like Hail teams only fighting Hail teams and Rain Dance teams only fighting Rain Dance teams. If you designed a team to fight on a volcano battlefield, like hell you're going to battle underwater. Nintendo would also never make that random in wireless and wifi battles, just makes it far too lopsided and unbalanced. If they don't include it in wireless and wifi battles....then its not going to be in the game. There are very few things that are separated from in-game and off-game battles. I think its, what, Natural Power that is affected by where you fight be it a field or a cave? Other than that, the raining and sandstorms that occur in-game are stimulated by moves and abilities. There is just no way that they are going to make battlefields how you are describing them as there is no way they could make that a fair and balanced system.

So this friend I met online showed me a bunch of fakemon sprites over a year ago, and I think it would be amazing if they made some real Pokemon like these.

(PS, the above picture would be a bug-type Eevee evolution. I want one.

And these are either made by another online friend or posted by her. One or the other.

In another line of comments, I really thought the "Who's that Pokemon?" image in the first post was a Lucario evolution. Just sayin'.

Lol, I thought about that too, BG. It would be more for in-game battles than multiplayer fields precisely for those reasons. Unless the effects were toned down to something more reasonable.

Haha, that cloak evo looks like the ghosts that toss stuff at you from DKC2.

@BottomGuy- like things aren't unbalanced and lopsided enough in shoddy as it is. id like to see someone actually train the team they use in the that in a real pokemon game, because it wont happen. ever.

The only things preventing people from training their Shoddy teams in the actual games is 31 IVs in all stats and giving legendaries any nature you want. Even then, things like that don't unbalance it because everyone can do them. If anything, Shoddy makes things more balanced - within the program itself, at least.

Also, the team I use in Diamond is pretty close to something I would make in Shoddy, sans the super-high IVs. Cy can testify to its awesomeness.

That said, I do think it would be interesting to give gym leaders some kind of home field advantage like the field effects that have been mentioned previously. They wouldn't need to appear in any other battles.

Well, check this bit of info out. New breeding mechanics, and new egg moves.

So yeah, now i'm really tempted to make a Blastoise Charizard Venusaur half-team like I did in Yellow.
Ooh, disable on gastly? =D

Now I need to figure out how to figure out what my Pokemon's IV's are. >.>

ooh, aron with head smash. =D
hmm, torkoal with skull bash? mehbeh. a physical torkoal is tough... body slam to paralyze, earthquake, stone edge, gyro ball, explosion, return, flail... lots of good attacks to use already... not to mention things like fissure, toxic, will o wisp

lot of pokemon learning weather ball too.

That's assuming I know what EV's my pokemon have accumulated. =/

Also, I need to get me some EV' reducing, friendship increasing berries and find a way to plant water and harvest 'em regularly, or find someone who has extras they can trade to me.

No way to calculate their IVs if you don't know their EVs. However, you could always trade them to someone with pokesav and have them look up your IVs for you.
