Heyo, so in my spare time I've been either getting my ever-so-necessary dose of the internet, and or, really delving into my musical interests. I remember a long time ago I was rigid with my tastes of music, usually only liking things that were System of a Down or Three Days Grace. Thankfully I grew out of that phase and have expanded to things like Rammstein, Green Day, and bands like Queen, Rush, and Phil Collins. But most importantly are my two most influential bands; Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle. Anyways I feel like I did enough talking seeing as this was just a thread intended to show off a song I made that's in the works. Sorry if the way it reads off is odd, it's based off my perspective of how in religion if you mention the 666 man it's a get out of jail free card. Enough ranting. (Please excuse my song writing process with the [ ]'s. It's like writing a formula to an equation before even solving the math problem, just helps me plug in the information in a neat organized way.)
Attempted song, eh?

"Scapegoat"
[ Verse ] Point your finger
Verbalize your guilt
All which you don't feel
Faith running thin
Like that of a stretched rubber band
[Chorus] Don't you love him
He is the 'source' of your temptation
The source of your fault
Mutter his name
Your 'sin' will hault.
[Verse] Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Faith runs thin in this disorder
But all is well,
With only five letters I'm forgiven
[Verse] Blame him, blame him
The man with the cross says so
Forgiveness in the end
Apathy is for the weak, no?
[Chorus] Don't you love him
Get out of jail free
Plead to guilty first degree
With only five letters
[Breakdown] Do what YOU want
Disregard HER
Maim thee
Five letters will protect me
[Chorus] Don't you think
Maybe you all are wrong
He is just a scapegoat
Nothing more
I plead guilty to being a victim of 'they're' conspiracy against society.
