Tuesday's are for lovers. And weekly updates. (How you doin'?)

Amethyst uses Episode 10 of Pokemon Reborn! It's super effective!

Dark Shadow has an idea for a Monkey Pro comic, and he wants your input.

Streets has another suggestion to sink your brains in to.

I guess that's everything important, ever, and nothing else important happened on the forums.

Oh snap! Secret Santa! Go sign up and whatnot. Please.

Offended because you don't celebrate Christmas? Go undercover.

So here's the deal: you upload a video to MPTV, you get points (and according to Bean, points means prizes). You upload a video with a cat, you get noticed. You upload a video with a cat named after me, because I can only assume that KP stands for Kitty Parker, then I name you member of the week. Congratulations to Legacy for figuring out this once heavily guarded secret formula.

Game of the Week

Angels of Exodus
Instead of trying to come up with something clever to say about this game, I'm going to quote something the game's creator, Illustrious, said on another site a couple of years ago ( http://rpgmaker.net/...3123/blog/5010/ ), "RM was really fun in those times. I wouldn't say there was such things as standards then, anything went. It was all about making something crazy or creative (or making your own game called final fantasy). There were lots of games about the community and our flame wars, games about skateboarders vs. demons, games where the creator and his friends were protagonists. Sometimes I miss the randomness of these old games." It sums up pretty succinctly exactly how I felt when playing. Not pretty, but the graphics, sound and writing combine in the game's first area, Fern, to create a peacefulness seldom found in games. I didn't complete the demo, but there are enough interesting things happening, and strange secrets to find, that I think it's worth a look.

Poll Results

I think that the real question of last week's poll was, "Which reference is more popular? Forrest Gump, or The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?" The results are pretty conclusive.

A new poll is up. Inspired by the greatest guy.

What did we play?

Grand Theft Auto 5; The Wolf Among Us; Fire Emblem: Awakening; MLB 13 The Show; Pokemon X & Y; Terraria; Blazblue: Continuum Shift; Team Fortress 2; Civilization 5; Medieval: Total War 2; Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion

What did we watch?

Transcendent Man (Documentary); Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (Documentary); Louie (TV); Outerworld/Beyond the Rising Moon (Movie); Forrest Gump (Movie)

What did we read?

MLP Annual for 2013; Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened by Allie Brosh; A Dance with Dragons by George R. R. Martin; End the Fed by Ron Paul

What did we listen to?

Stephen Balwin's Address at the Whitehouse Press Correspondents Dinner by Bearcubbin'!; Shame On A Nigga by Wu-Tang Clan; The Keeper (ft. Andreya Triana) by Bonobo; The Prestige by S O H N; Hey Mario by Patent Pending; Family Business by Kanye West

And... that's it. Maybe I should think of a more permanent outro to make my life easier. That way, I have one less thing to think about each week. Any suggestions?

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Old flash signature has been revived for nostalgic purposes. Too bad RpgWizard hasn't been revived. :\

This is my third MotW award since joining back in March.

But it is probably my most special one.

I love my little KP.

Good work on the weekly update!

Dropping down a well that time forgot
With scars that show that we care a lot
In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut
Of the things we'd do and what we saught
