Instead of trying to come up with something clever to say about this game, I'm going to quote something the game's creator, Illustrious, said on another site a couple of years ago ( http://rpgmaker.net/games/3123/blog/5010/ ), "RM was really fun in those times. I wouldn't say there was such things as standards then, anything went. It was all about making something crazy or creative (or making your own game called final fantasy). There were lots of games about the community and our flame wars, games about skateboarders vs. demons, games where the creator and his friends were protagonists. Sometimes I miss the randomness of these old games." It sums up pretty succinctly exactly how I felt when playing. Not pretty, but the graphics, sound and writing combine in the game's first area, Fern, to create a peacefulness seldom found in games. I didn't complete the demo, but there are enough interesting things happening, and strange secrets to find, that I think it's worth a look.Reviews
