After the defeat of the Overmind, the two races of Terran and Protoss began to work together for the purpose of restoring Auir to the magnificent world it had once been. They struggled for five long and hard years with the task, suffering random attacks from the broods of Zerg that had managed to escape the planet. To make matters worse, they also suffered from frequent civil wars caused by those who couldn’t accept the co-operation of the two massive races.

But they succeeded. And after five years of blood, sweat and tears Auir was once again the magnificent homeworld of the Protoss it had once been. And more importantly, an unbreakable bond had been created between the two races. Before they had been enemies, now they were allies almost as strong as if they’d been one race. But even so, there was something the Terrans lacked, a homeworld of their own.

So they, with the aid of their ally, began to explore the universe for a suitable world for them to create their new home at. And after a long search, they found the planet Xoleras. It was perfectly inhabitable, possessing a very good climate and high levels of oxygen. So the Terrans began to establish a homeworld of their own, one which began to flourish with prosperity much like its Protoss counterpart. So now, the alliance still stands strong with the two races keeping close contact and exploring the rest of the universe together. Protoss live on Xoleras, Terrans live on Auir, and everything is going just the way it should.

But not everything is what it should be. The divided and scattered Broods of the Zerg still exist, and although they no longer have the unity they once had they’re still a formidable force. And worse, no one is sure exactly where they escaped. Just recently though, a small force of Zerg Drones infiltrated the planet of Xoleras, carried through space by an Overlord, and they even brought along a Cerebrate. This sudden action was caused by the detection of a strong psychic force coming from the planet, one which lured the Zerg into its grasp. But what caused it? And what are the Terrans going to do if the Zergs start to multiply? Only time will tell….

[PS: Pretend that Brood War never happened and this takes place directly after the first story in the game.]





Okay people, this is the sign up sheet for the Starcraft RP, which the story is described above there. Here are the rules for the sign-up:

1. Your character must remain true to the original Starcraft unit. This means you can't have a different looking armor. You can minor modifications, like, if you're a Marine, you can have a C-10 shotgun, but the armor look must be relatively the same, and has to be a projectile weapon still. [ie: No flipping between Machine gun to Rocket Launcher sorta thing]
2. There is no age limit, and your character, can adjust as needed for the age, like, obviously a 12 year old can't have huge Marine armor, but whatever they do have has to reflect the atmosphere of the games intended look for that race.
3. There is really no limit to what you can RP as, such as, you can be the Zerg Cerebrate or you can be a huge group of Marines. You can also double or triple role hero units, however many you think you can handle.

Oooh! Someone else that likes StarCraft... amazing... well... my character shall be a Hydralisk (Upgraded, of course, with +speed/+attack range :P)

Well, works for me, I guess Hyper, but you can multi-role, so you can play the cerebrate if you like.

Also a note: I'm kind of sticky about RP'ing. If your RP posts mainly consist of a script of dialogue with action in astericks, well, don't expect me to look kindly on them, even though I won't be able to do anything about them. A novel-esque method of RP'ing is much more preferable in my eyes.

Bio: Both Zajus and Arka are friends on and off the battlefield. Every battle that they have been in has been together. They're level of teamwork and cooperation is on such a level that the two of them alone can storm a massive enemy base and raze it to the ground. Since they're strength requires much meditation and pre-preparation, they are called to the field only when their help is desperatly needed. Otherwise they spend their time in a monastery like building in a mountain-range on Auir. However, when they are called down, their power is nothing short of astounding.

Job: Goliath pilot

HP: 500
Other: Generic Goliath, obviously more powerful. Nash awaits being on the next episode of XTV's "Pimp my Goliath" [Oh yeah, that's XolerasTelevision, if you couldn't tell.]
Bio: Having an affination for robots and mechs since childhood, Nash naturally became a Goliath pilot. Thing is, he's good at it. His rank has increased more and more as the years went by, and now he's one of the best on Xoleras. He's a member of the main military, not the highest ranking officer, but he can boss around a bunch of Marines easily. His defensive powers often can turn the tide against a swarm of mutalisks easily.

This next one was an idea by a friend of mine, but since he's not here, I'll take up his steed.

Name - Evrae Michigan
Race - Terran, female
Age - 10
Rank - Ghost Cadet
Weapons - None, but she knows the basics of firearms and hand-to-hand in case she'd have to use them.
Powers - Strong Psionic powers, able to use telekinesis and telepathy.

Evrae is a Ghost Cadet, mening she's a Ghost still in training and not yet capable of the same feats as fully trained ones. She's being trained in the secret base Elsefyr, which is controlled by a group of Terran exterimists who wants to wage war with the Protoss instead of being allied with them. To keep her loyal and obedient, the leaders of said exterimists have surgically implanted a Neuro chip in her brain. This chip reduces her self-awareness to a minimum, causing her to be as obedient as a robot and as emotional as one too. In addition, it has caused her to develop a mental disorder which causes her to belive it's not her own body she's inhabiting, but someone else's. In short, this means she feels no pain at all because her psyche doesn't recognize the nerve signals as her own.



If anyone thinks I'm godmoding with these uber-powerful characters, don't worry, I fight fair and stuff. I'm not a god-moder, even if I might seem like one.

Weapons - Assault Rifle (I have no idea what they actually have) / A custom Vulture (Was a peice of junk, then he found it, bought it cheep, and repaired it)
Levels - Marine Weapon +2, armor +2/ Vehicle attack +1, 9Armor +3 (built it up and cared to make sure it didnt die easy)
Health - Marine = 350 / Vulture = 750

Is that good?

Also, I didn't intend this to be a mini-war. I wanted a good long story to go with it, but since this place lacks a healthy amount of RP'ers, I've abandoned any hope of this RP ever taking off.
