The current version is you make your characters, stick them all in a dungeon, then go about things however you want while I throw traps and monsters at you periodically.
Instead of rolling dice or whatever to see how things play out, you just say what you're doing ("I throw a fireball at Nick!"), and the person you're doing it to decides what the result is (Nick: "I can't quite get out of the way in time, so the fireball hits me square in the shoulder, causing me to drop my sword."). Just don't go making your characters invincible or untouchable. That's boring.
You guys can be as serious or silly with it as you please.
EDIT: I'll probably post some guidelines for making your characters by the end of the day tomorrow, along with whatever I can come up with for a story premise.
In the mean time, feel free to voice any suggestions you may have. It will be easier to change things before we start than after.
EDIT 2: Also, you can post at your own pace. But if your character gets attacked, and you take way too long to post what comes of it, I will either find a way to decide randomly or else pick something dramatically appropriate so the game can keep moving. (I know people are busy sometimes, so I won't just up and take over your character or something if you're absent for a day.)
