Just saw this video and it made me feel pretty good in a whole different way:



The cop is incredibly calm and relaxed and deals with the whole situation very effectively, even though the guy behind the camera was arguably being a bit of a dick.

There's actually been a campaign on reddit to mass email his commanding officers to commend his composure and demeanour. If it'd been me I would've panicked if a guy with a gun was being that much of a douche.

i never thought tom and jerry was good. i always felt bad because tom always got beat up and i'm a crazy cat lady at heart.

childhood nostalgia is hearing this theme, and immedietely thinking about the episode where a shiny eyed bear killed the living fuck out of everything, and then shitting your pants because you were 2, and NOT READY for that shit.

American animation comes and goes in waves. For some time we will be in a so called "golden age" where animation is made as a form of art, to be enjoyed by others, and at other times made as a means to selling action figures. We are currently in the grips of the latter, but I feel like we're starting to climb back out to an extent.
