That really sucks though, I read about it this morning. I wonder what they'll do. Even if the show mostly sucks now, every time I watched a new episode with Edna in it she was at least consistent with how she used to sound/be. They'll have to either replace her or kill her off, it's not like Phil Hartman where you could just retire his characters as background characters.

we only see entire episodes for the sake of story. everything takes place in the span of a year, but the scenes that make the episodes make up different pieces of different days. when a certain character is not in an episode or scene, it's because they're somewhere else that day. make sense?/> Maybe Bart will finally move up to the fifth grade? even though eiei annyoed grunt, o is in season 11, homer and grandpa burnt that house down in season 6. however, to completely fill a whole year. it would take 17,520 episodes.
