Shoddy Battle Server

All last night ranging from 8:49pm to 12:54am then from 9:21am to 11:41am this morning, I've been working on setting up a server for the PokePlace to play in and at last it is finished. I am currently in the process of PMing them so that they put us on the official list but otherwise we can still use the Shoddy Server to battle and stuff!
Open up Shoddy
Then go to Advanced (right under connect)
Host: 24.9.59.104
Port: 1291
Register
and that's it.
Obviously this will probably only be used for the gym battles and such but it makes us not depend on the Smogon University Server which as we all know can lag badly.
Hopefully we will get listed soon.

Edit: Please inform me if you can't connect to it.

Hm... Could it be that you haven't forwarded that port? Or it may only work when your machine is online.

Although I do see the similarities...
Is it practical for you to leave your compuiter on all the time? Since I'm running the leaders, it would make sense if I could host the server, however as all I have is a tiny little netbook, I'm not sure it could handle it, and also I've tried port forwarding a zoroarkillion times with no success...

Black Haze was a fickle member of PokePlace that I picked up on a trading post early in the series' foray into wifi. Sadly, he vanished completely a long time ago.

Maybe not all the time but if I'm correct you only battle at night right? We could work something out that if need or when needed I could just turn it on and leave it on. I don't mind. Whatever works though.
