Bad idea to update to 4.3 though, it literally goes the extra mile to delete all things homebrew.

So, I installed USB loader GX since my Wii is broke and can't read discs of any kind now. I'm using an sd card reader in the usb slot. So far out of Bully, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and New Super Mario Bros, only New Super Mario Bros works. I select it in Usb Loader GX and I hear Mario say "New Super Mario Bros WWWEEEHEEEEEEE" like you would hear if you loaded it normally through the disc channel, and the game runs flawlessly. Any other game, though, and I don't even hear the music/sounds when you select it, and when I load it all I get is a black screen.

Any ideas? I think it might be because the SD card is slower than a proper usb flash drive. NSMB is a custom iso, cut down to only a tiny 350 MB, while other games are at least 3 gigs, so I guess it would make sense that it's easier to load, right? Complete shot in the dark but it's all I can think of. I've installed so many combinations of IOS's and USB loaders it's not even funny.

Maybe I'll borrow a flash drive and see if it makes any difference.


Edit: Yeah. I've answered my own question again. The SD card I was using was just terrible. I switched it for another one and now it works fine.

I don't even know the first thing about homebrew... And I don't have/plan to buy Twilight Princess, and all the other hacks don't seem to work for me.
